Stars in His Crown Class Name: The Seven Church Ages Did you know Brother Billy Paul tells a testimony about YOU having your picture taken with Brother Branham? Yes, this story is not on tape, but back in 1964 when this book was printed (holding Church Age book) Brother Billy shares that Brother Branham asked him to choose a picture to be printed on the inside of the Church Age book. He didn t want to do it, but Brother Branham insisted, so Brother Billy chose the picture (showing picture) and the book was printed. When it was finished and Brother Billy looked through the book, he thought it was printed wrong; he brought the book to Brother Branham to show him how the stars had bled through onto his picture. (showing the stars shining through behind Brother Branham s image) Brother Branham responded, It was supposed to be there, that s the stars in my crown! That s YOU the stars in his crown! (pointing at children) Play Quote 12...But I feel to you like Paul said back there about his congregation once, You re the stars in my crown. When I cross over the land over on the other side yonder, and meet you in that glorified condition, I want you to stand there to shine like the stars in my crown. See? And I--I want you to be there, I want to be there. 61-0108 Revelation, Chapter Four #3 Who wants to be there on that other side shining like those stars in his crown? (show of hands) We are resting on that! And His Bride WILL be there! Each member from Paul s time in Ephesus until the last one during our Church Age, Laodicea! Patmos Vision Who can tell me Revelation 10:7? Class sings Scripture after individual recites. That seventh angel was to reveal all the mysteries of the Bible. The revelation of these Church Ages is one of the mysteries that the Lord gave the seventh angel. Who is that seventh angel? Brother Branham. We can find the Seven Church Ages in the Book of Revelation. It is the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. This book was written by Jesus Himself through personally appearing to John as His scribe. John the Revelator was the beloved disciple of Jesus. He was sent to the island of Patmos as a prisoner for preaching the Word. It was a rocky island where Rome sent their worst prisoners. It was full of snakes and scorpions! John received an incredible visit when he was on that island. Let s turn to Revelation and read about it... Read Revelations 1:9-20 9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. 2 For Lesson You Will Need: 1 Seven Church Ages Book 1 Seven Church Ages Worksheet for each student Crayons: Red, Black, Gold, and Navy 1 Bible for each student 10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, Teacher: A trumpet means an announcement! Get ready. I m going to give you the revelation of Jesus Christ, to give to the Church. I will speak to you, what will be the destination of the world, for those who receive and those who reject. 54-0512 The Seven Church Ages 11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. 12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; (Begin Worksheet. Point out the candlestick on Church Age drawing.) Teacher: Brother Branham said that the correct translation for candlestick is lampstand. 13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. Teacher: This person was dressed as a judge. Judges wore a girdle about their paps. A girdle is a belt. (point out the girdle to children, color girdle gold) 14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; Teacher: White hair also means He is a judge. Eyes as a flame of fire means He stands there as an angry judge. He could look right down into the heart of a man and know all about him. He knows who you are, where you are, and what you ve done. (Color eyes red) 15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. Teacher: What did His feet look like? Brass means judgment. His voice sounded like many waters. Waters represent a multitude of people. 16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. Teacher: Jesus had seven stars in His right hand. Those seven stars represent the seven church age messengers. Jesus held the stars in His right hand. Now everything in the Bible has a meaning, and His right hand means the power and authority of God. The sharp twoedged sword that came out of His mouth was the Word. Hebrews 4:12 says, For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. His countenance shone like the sun. Countenance means the expression on your face. (Color the seven stars in Jesus hand, color the rays around Jesus head, and trace word.) 3

17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: Teacher: When John saw Jesus he was so scared he fell as a dead man...but he wasn t actually dead. 18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Teacher: That s Jesus! He took the keys of hell and death from the devil when He died for us on Calvary. He died on the Cross and rose again, and now He lives forevermore. (Color the keys) 19 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter; Teacher: Jesus told John to write down everything that he saw; and everything that Jesus would show him 20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. Teacher: The seven stars are the seven church age messengers. The candlesticks (or the lampstands) represent the seven church ages. (Trace the word lampstand ) By the revelation of the Holy Ghost to the 7th angel we know the angel or messenger to each Church Age! There is only ONE angel or messenger to each age. God has always dealt with one man, not a group. Play quote: I--I defy anytime that--that ever, when God ever did use a group of man. He uses one man. Exactly. One man at a time, cause two men s got two opinions. One man! Exactly right. Notice now, every dispensation it s been that way, all the way down through, it s been that way every time. 62-0603 The End Time Evangelism (Color in the seven stars at the top of the page) These men were very special men that carried the message from God for their Church Age. It was a one-man Message in each age! (Trace the messenger and church age names as a class while listening to the Church Age quotes. ) Seven Church Ages Play quotes: Ephesus The angel of the first church was Saint Paul, he founded it, God s messenger. The angel of the church of Ephesus was Saint Paul. 4 (Trace Paul and Ephesus) Smyrna Now, historians setting here is going to disagree with me on this man; but on the church of Smyrna, Irenaeus is who I know that was the angel of that day. Trace Irenaus and Smyrna Pergamos And the angel of the Light of--of Pergamos was the great Saint Martin. I don t believethere was a greater man ever lived on earth, outside of Jesus Christ, than Saint Martin. Power? The assassinists come to him to cut his head off (he believed in signs and wonders, and the Pentecostal Blessing), and when they went to, they was going to assassinate him, he pulled his cloak back and held his neck out to them. And when the assassinator drawed the sword to chop his head off, the power of God knocked him plumb back out from him, and he crawled on his knees to ask him for...?... Amen. He was an angel =to the church. Thyatira The angel of the church of--of Thyatira was Columba. (Trace Columba and Thyatira) Sardis The angel of the church of Sardis was Martin Luther, the first reformer. (Trace Luther and Sardis) Philadelphia The angel of the church of Philadelphia was John Wesley, the messenger. (Trace Wesley and Philadelphia) Laaodicea The seventh angel of Revelations 10:7 is the seventh church-age messenger. See? Now watch. And in the days... Now watch here. But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished,...242 Now, sounding forth, this messenger, the seventh angel here is sounding forth his Message to the Laodicean church. 62-1230E Is This The Sign Of The End, Sir? (Trace Branham and Laodicea) Who is that seventh angel in Revelation 10:7? Brother Branham! We are living in the last age. It is the most evil of all the ages. You can see why we needed Brother Branham! We need to escape this evil time. The circles here represent the church in each age. The black portion represents the false church in that age and the light area represents the true church. How do we hear the Message of our day and escape the evil of this church age? The Tapes, Push play! (Fill in the Moons from each age) 5

Pillar of Fire Draws the Seven Church Ages Worksheet Teacher s Copy Flannelgraph: Picture of Brother Branham preaching at the Tabernacle when the Pillar of Fire came down and drew the Church Ages on the wall. While preaching the series on the Church Ages, Brother Branham drew the Seven Church Ages on a blackboard to teach at the Tabernacle. Then, one Sunday morning while preaching ( Revelation,Chapter Four #3 ) The Pillar of Fire came down and drew this very image on the Tabernacle wall to vindicate that Brother Branham had taught us the TRUTH! Play quote: And, by the way, has anybody ever heard them tapes on the church ages? On the last time I had those ages drawed out there on the blackboard, and the Heavenly Father knows this is true, when I completed it with the best I could, under the inspiration that God would give me, that Angel of the Lord that you see in the picture (many have seen that picture, haven t you, that Light?), It came right down in the room, before about three hundred or four hundred people, went right over on the side of the wall (as a Light like that) and drawed those church ages by Itself. We all stood there looking at It, watched It draw the first church age, the second, third, and fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh.now, there s people sitting here that s a witness of that. Raise up your hand if that s so. The Bible said, In the mouth of two or three witnesses. Everyone sitting there, screaming and everything else, I said, There! Now, you ve wanted to see It, everybody can look right at It. Eleven o clock in the day, standing right there on the wall, and drawed off those church ages, just which much Spirit, and then the darkness to show that the Spirit was smothered out and went through the Dark Age and come right back down again, just the way I had it drawed. And we got it, pictures of it, and everything drawed, hanging on the wall. And there it was just exactly. It must have been that the Spirit of the Lord was satisfied that that was completed, cause He come back and vindicated that that was right. 63-0116 The Evening Messenger Note: The Seven Church Ages worksheet can be printed from the Creations website. It is on the Seven Church Ages craft tutorial page. 6 7

Steps: 1. Paint the front and sides of your 3 x8 board white (don t forget the edges, but you don t have to paint the back). Let dry. 1. 2. 2. Place The Seven Church Ages stencil. Press down firmly with the scraper to keep the paint from bleeding. 3. When the stencil is in place, drill a hole with the 5/32 inch drill bit in the center of each star. 4. Paint the stencil: Gold: Stars Black: Lettering Make sure the drill holes are clear of paint before the paint dries, a toothpick or pencil point works well for this 3. 4. 5. Remove the stencil. It works best if you can pull the stencil while the paint is still wet. *If you are not making the 4-10 year old version skip step six.* 6. Cut and glue each Church Age Messenger s Name above their star. The print-off for the messenger names can be found on the Creations website with this tutorial. 7. Use the hot glue gun to glue the battery pack to the back of the board. 8. Stuff a twinkle light into each hole, and turn on the lights. You re finished! 5. 6. If you have a cameo machine, you can email us at creations@youngfoundations.org for the file to cut your own vinyl stencils. If you do not have access to a cameo machine, another option to transfer the image to your board is carbon paper. If you use carbonpaper: Requst the printable Seven Church Age stencil by email. Print it off and tape it to the non carbon side of your carbon paper. Place the carbon paper, carbon side facing your board, and trace the image with a pencil using medium pressure. When the image is traced, remove the paper and continue from step three above. 7. 8. 10 11
