Mike and Debbie Lanemann CHILDREN S LITURGY OF THE WORD: SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 9 AND SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 10 NO CLOW Dear Parishioners, As many of you know, we are blessed to have a vibrant high school Life Teen Youth Ministry program as well as our EDGE Junior High Youth Ministry here at Holy Infant. We strive to respond to the needs of young people in our parish community and encourage them to share their unique gi s and empower them to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today. The challenge of discipleship of following Jesus is at the heart of our mission. In our Holy Infant Youth Ministry, there are many opportuni es for personal and spiritual growth offered throughout the year including weekly mee ngs as well as opportuni es for reflec on, service in the community, and various retreats. For the past three years, we have been blessed with the leadership of Dan Angel who has faithfully served as our Youth Minister. When we first hired Dan, we knew that his me would be limited while his wife, Chris na would be finishing her residency here in St. Louis. These past three years have passed very quickly! I have personally enjoyed working with Dan very much and have benefited from his goodness to me and to our en re parish family! Dan will remain with us as our Youth Minister un l mid-june when he and his wife will move back to Florida. Chris na will be working as a Hospitalist in St. Petersburg, Florida, while Dan will most likely be working with the youth at either a parish church or a Catholic school. While I am very happy for Dan and Chris na to be able to move home and be closer to their families in Florida, their presence will surely be missed. I am pleased to announce that one of our own, Tommy McAndrews will be our new Youth Minister for our Life Teen high school and junior high programs. Tommy has been a parishioner here at Holy Infant for his en re life. He is the son of Greg and Barb McAndrews. Having recently graduated from the University of Missouri, Tommy will officially begin working here in mid-april. Tommy was a teenager in our Life Teen program throughout his high school years and has been a member of our Summer Core for Youth Ministry for the past four years. He is very excited to have the opportunity to serve as our new Holy Infant Youth Minister. In the name of the en re parish, I am pleased to give an early welcome to Tommy McAndrews! God s blessings to you and your families!

Do you acquire more possessions to impress others? At mes we are all guilty of these things. Pray for more humility. Pray to become less self-centered and become more God-centered. VINCENT DE PAUL I became a member of St. Vincent de Paul when I learned that the organization helps people through tough situations. We all know that life can turn on a dime. One minute things can be going smoothly; you have a job, you re paying your bills in a timely manner and in a blink of an eye everything changes. Not everyone has a family who can help them in a crisis. The generosity of our parishioners allows us to assist those through rough times. God judges our love for Him, not by what we give to Him, but by what we give to our neighbor. (Matthew 25) Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international Catholic lay organization dedicated to providing person-to-person service to all in need right here at home. Our ministry brings concrete aid and comfort of the Gospel to those who are in need. If you are in need of help or know someone in need, please call (314) 289-6101, mailbox 2265. Leave us a message. If you would like to support the work of St. Vincent de Paul, please make your check payable to St. Vincent de Paul Society and drop it in the collection basket. Thank you for your support. 2018 CONTRIBUTION STATEMENTS Thank you for your generosity to Holy Infant in 2018.
