Once there, Mass in Spanish and English will be celebrated by Archbishop Sartain (and concelebrated by Bishops Elizondo and Mueggenborg and several other priests) at 12:10 p.m. After Mass, a reception will follow with food, mariachi and folk dance groups. We've been relating characteristics found in our favorite heroes to The Fruits of the Holy Spirit. Last week we learned how we can use our strengths to show gentleness & kindness. Everyone departed with written ideas of random acts of kindness they could do until our next meeting. RETREAT FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH OLF School and Parish have invited NET Ministries to come lead an after-school retreat on Wednesday, December 6th. This is open to all middle school youth, taking advantage of Wednesday s early dismissals, both at public school and at Fatima. NET Ministers are young Catholic men and women aged 18-28 who travel across the U.S. to share the Gospel with youth and their families. Their retreats are exciting, energetic, and inspirational. Mark your calendar! There will be a Potluck Tuesday evening, December 5 th for middle school youth and their families, followed by the After-School Retreat on the 6 th for the kids. More info coming soon! WINTER SHELTER: Needs personal items such as small deodorants, packages of foot and hand warmers, combs, washcloths and packages of rain ponchos. L & XL underwear and t-shirts are greatly appreciated. Put in the marked basket in the Parish Center. ST. FRANCIS HOUSE: Needs include sandwiches of any kind, but especially tuna or meat, and hard boiled eggs. Please put sandwiches into individual sandwich bags, put back into the larger bread bag and mark the bag with the type of sandwich. Please put hard boiled eggs into a carton, secure with a rubber band and then into a bag. Leave on the coffee table in the parish center before 9am on Wednesday mornings.
