L Lisa y condolences to the Oliver family. I am sorry for your loss. I know this is a difficult time for the family and I pray God comforts you all. ay the many cherished memories of Preston comfort his family and friends. A comforting thought to keep in mind is at Psalm 147:3 "He (God) heals the brokenhearted, he binds up their wounds." The family is in my prayers. usan Oliver Thank you. usan Oliver & family. marilee taylor With the news of Preston's aka Rusty's passing, we are all gathered, taking a long pause and joined with a shared sadness at the thought of missing Rusty's generous, kind and unique spirit. Initially, we may find ourselves reflecting on the random and unfair nature of an illness and also the loss of a husband, father, father-inlaw, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. And then as Rusty would want us to do, we recall the good times to celebrate Rusty's life. This message is from the "west coast" relatives and our family treasures the memories of our holiday visits to usan, Rusty and Kiersten's home in Charleston, C. With a distinct brand of southern hospitality, Rusty always provided enough food for an army - hot off his grill, and at the same time, he made sure you had a proper cold beverage. Rusty was the type of person who always seemed to have that "tool" to fix that "problem". He loved his family dearly and was always attentive to his many animal friends including ariah, Lacey, kittles, Ice Cream and r. Tom (those are a few of the names I remember). One holiday, after a day at the beach collecting sand dollars, Rusty presented us with CD jewel cases protecting perfectly shaped sand dollars ready for the trip home. This was a small yet resilient gesture; one for which I will never forget. With a generous heart, Rusty always volunteered his time, talents and tenderness to those lucky enough to be in his company. Now Rusty's passing brings a renewed effort for our "west coast" family to stay in better contact with our "east coast" family. Our deepest condolences to all. Rusty will be missed. Love arilee, George, axwell, Kimberly and idney usan T. Oliver To our "wrong coast" family members... Rusty and I have always treasured your visits and keeping up with news, even when you were "across the pond". Rusty would treasure watching us get together as he watches from above. Love to all. usan, Kiersten, Will and ason.
