Syllabus for Six Month Certificate Course in Yoga and Personality Development (A) Title of the Course- six-month certificate in yoga and personality development. (B) Duration of the Course- The course will be of six-month duration. (C) Objectives of Course- 1- To enable the students to build- in self-discipline and self-control leading to immense amount of awareness, concentration and higher level of consciousness. 2- To develop the spiritual-cum-scientific personality of the students. 3- To develop an understanding and the interrelationship between Body, Mind and Psyche. 4- To attain physical, mental and emotional balance. (D) Syllabus- The syllabus is comprised of both theory and practical to fulfill the objectives. (E) Eligibility- No student shall be eligible for admission to a Six-month certificate course in yoga unless he/she has successfully completed 10+2 and enrolled in any stream in Central University of Gujarat. (F) Age Limit- Candidates should not be more than 45 years of age on the date of admission. (G) Admission-Will be on first come first served basis. (H) Medical Fitness Certificate- All the selected candidates shall have to submit a medical fitness certificate issued by the doctor of CUG. (I) Intake seats- Only 40 candidates will be admitted in one batch for the Six-month certificate course. (J) Fee- A token fee of Rs. 100/- will be charged from the students admitted in the Certificate Course of Yoga. Fee may be deposited online or directly through the Canara Bank, CUG branch in the account no. 5999101000721 (K) Classes- Practical classes will be organized either in morning or evening from Monday to Friday on daily basis and theory classes will be held on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday in the evening. Detailed schedule and venue of the classes will be informed to the students at the time of notification of the course.
