This is the week to spend with family and friends and intentionally take time to say, "Thank You, Lord!" God is good and has given us so many blessings. It is time to pause, pray, and give thanks. Eight Things to Give Thanks for! 1. God is good! - Psalm 34:8 "Taste and See that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him." 2. God is love! - 1 John 4:8 "Because God is love." 3. God gives gifts and does not change! - James 1:17 "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." 4. God is light! - 1 John 1:5 "This is the message we have heard from Him and declare to you: God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all." 5. God forgives! - "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." 6. God is in Control! - "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." 7. God is at work in You! - Philippians 2:13 "For it is God Who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure." 8.
