What is this TXT Fondue program about? Throughout the Scriptures, we read extensively about the seven that God the Father has given us, to allow us to grow spiritually and keep commemorating the highlights of our spiritual life. Learn through this TXT Fondue what the seven are all about. How is a TXT Fondue played? Two teams take turns in asking each other questions. There usually are 12 questions for each team. The team that has question 1a begins with asking. After the question has been asked and in some cases a passage from the Scriptures has been read, the other team has one minute to discuss their answer. Then they give their final answer and the team that asked the question decides whether the answer is correct. Keep in mind that if your team demands strict answers, the other team will do the same. Not the answer but the process With a TXT Fondue, it s not about the answer, but all about the process. Questions will lead to new questions, which is good, but keep these thoughts until after the TXT Fondue, so that the program may continue fluently and dynamically. That is important, because a TXT Fondue is actually a sermon that is divided into chunks. It is apostles teaching (Acts 2:42), so just like any sermon it has a structure that builds up to an application. Those who wish to go indepth can do so afterwards. Referee Like the referee ensures that the rules of play are respected, the elder in a house feast supervises that all that is said remains Biblical (1 Timothy 4:16). There are just two rules: if someone says something unbiblical, the elder takes corrective action, like a referee in football issues a yellow card. In case of sin, he intervenes, comparable to a red card. Feedback Have you got a suggestion? Did you discover an error in a TXT Fondue program? Let us know through HuisfeestNetwerk.org! Questions regarding the contents can be discussed with the House Feast Network at facebook.com/housefeastnetwork. What is the House Feast Network? Those who are in the house feasts intend to reach all people in their own network who have not yet been reached with the gospel. Networking Of course you are curious to see how other house feasts do things. You wish to pay each other visits, help each other, and in any case you celebrate a large feast together, three times a year. To facilitate this, we have set up a House Feast Network group on Facebook: facebook.com/housefeastnetwork. Elders can exchange their experiences at facebook.com/groups/oudsten. Share impressions House feasts support one another by continually sharing photos in The House Feast Network. House feasts unite because of this. We prefer that the ambience pictures you share do not intrude people s privacy. What is the Learnhouse? A collection of 84 TXT Fondue programs together form a complete training to spiritual maturity. It is composed of 7, with 12 programs per. The program you now hold is part of the sixth fundament: future. We recommend you to read the books of Revelations and Ephesians while you take the 12 lessons in this fundament. Previous program: 5.12 Elders This program: Version: April 9, 2013. 1a. What will God the Judge be judging every human on at the end of their lives, aside from his or her conversion? (answer) Whether he or she has bore fruit and has been obedient to His commissions. 2a. What are the three criteria you are rewarded on? (answer) The other team must name all three of these: 1. Your faith; 2. Your obedience; 3. The degree of (spiritual) fruit you produced in your life. 3a. We will now go into each individual fundament. Step by step, we will discover how you will grow from not being a believer into a spiritually mature. Let s begin with the first step. What do you call it when you start believing and you accept and acknowledge that the Lamb Christ has died for your sins and His blood saves you? (answer) Conversion. 4a. King Jesus has shown us how we can choose to take part in his death. By doing this physical act, we show that we want to follow Him and wish to live free of sin. What is the name of this act? (answer) Baptism in water. (comment) This is the second fundament for every child of God the Father. 5a. After we have consciously taken these two decisions, King Jesus does not leave us as orphans. Aside from the Word (the Bible), He sends us Someone to help us. Whom? (answer) He sends the Holy Spirit, in whom He baptizes us and with whom He fills us. (comment) This way, we are led daily in God s truth and receive the strength to testify of King Jesus. 6a. King Jesus sends you and your family out to testify of Him, to bring healing and deliverance, and to bring care for the weak in practice. In which two words can we summarize this fourth fundament? (answer) Evangelization and deaconry. 7a. Where did the believers blow the trumpets (shofars) on this day? Choose from: a. At the temple square; b. Walking through the streets; c. From their windows to the outside; d. In their own living room. (answer) The correct answer is c. From their windows to the outside, so that everyone can clearly hear it. 8a. The fifth fundament is about the task King Jesus gave His disciples to live holy and perfect. In clear words, the Bible exceedingly speaks about our lives as a disciple. We are commanded to live perfect, like the heavenly Father is perfect. Make an estimation how many percent holiness you minimally need. (answer) 100%. huisfeest netwerk.org page 2 of 5

9a. Because the bar is raised so high, King Jesus Himself will put on the robe of the high priest to supplement our remaining unholiness. He first was the sacrifice; His blood saved us. Now He is the High Priest and does intercessory prayer with God the Judge to permanently plead us free from our unholiness, in order to achieve atonement for us. What is the name on this Biblical feast? (answer) Day of Atonement / Yom Kippur. 10a. The sixth fundament is regarding your own future planning. You need to make a choice that is both conscious well thought-through, because it that determines your life, prioritization and future. Name an example of one of such an important question of life that you can ask yourself during this feast. (answer) Several possible questions of life that the other group can name are: Have I been crucified with Christ, so that it is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me, and as a result I only live for Christ? (Galatians 2:20) Am I prepared to be a pilgrim who is always under way for King Jesus? Is my priority with storing up treasures in heaven rather than on earth? Do I want to invest my time, effort, means, basically everything, to build God s Kingdom? Do I let myself be led by the Holy Spirit in every aspect, including who becomes my life partner and the career I choose? 11a. The seventh fundament is about your spiritual maturity. This is the phase you eventually live towards as child of God and as sons and daughters, because now begins the time of bearing fruit from your home, together with your family in reaching your world. The day of rest brings peace to all who are tired and heavy laden. In the Old Testament, the Sabbath was celebrated from Friday s sunset through to Saturday s sunset. Since the New Testament, on which day or days do we celebrate the Sabbath? (answer) Every day. (comment) Hebrews 4:11 says: Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience. Also, in Acts, the believers did not gather at home once a week, but daily, in order to reach their world with the gospel. In TXT Fondue 7.04 Sabbath, this is discussed in-depth. 12a. Determine for yourself based on the following questions where you now stand. 1. Have I been converted? 2. Have I been baptized in water? 3. Have I been baptized in and filled with the Holy Spirit? 4. Do I practice evangelization and deaconry? 5. Do I live holy? 6. Have I got the right plans for my future? 7. Do I reach my world together with my family? huisfeest netwerk.org page 3 of 5

1b. Matthew 3:8 says: Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. In which way do we bear or produce fruit, according to the Bible? (answer) Our fruit is to tell people the good news the gospel and to let them experience it, and by doing good works. 2b. In Leviticus 23, God the Father has given us the Biblical feasts. These are measuring points of our lives, and every feast is a fundament. What is the reason we need these ; what are they ultimately aimed at? (answer) That you bear spiritual fruit. 3b. There is a Biblical feast through which you remember that Christ has indeed died on the cross. This feast is associated with the first fundament. What do we call this feast? (answer) Pesach Seder. 4b. We remember this second fundament annually with a feast during which we eat unleavened bread, which has no yeast in it; this bread is the symbol of a life without sin. What is this well-known feast called? (answer) Pesach / Feast of the Unleavened Bread. (comment) During this feast, we remember that we have stood up from the grave with Christ, and may start a new life in Him. Our baptism in water is also called the watergrave. We prefer not using the other name commonly used for it in English, as it is directly derived from the name of a Germanic pagan goddess, and Exodus 23:13 tells us not to speak the names of other gods. 5b. During which feast was this Person given to us? (answer) Pentecost / Shawu ot. (comment) God the Father has also given the Law to Mozes during this (harvest)feast. 6b. We remember this fourth fundament each year during the Feast of Trumpets (Rosh ha-shana). In which month is this feast almost always celebrated? (answer) September. 7b. What is the goal of blowing on trumpets (shofars) during this feast? (answer) This way, the followers of King Jesus make known to their world that they live for the proclamation of the Kingdom of God and for caring for the weak. 8b. It is very important to realize that the the norm of holiness cannot be lowered, and that God the Judge does not accept any less. In what way do we have to live according to this fundament? (answer) We must live holy. (comment) In the New Testament (Matthew 5:48), King Jesus says: Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. huisfeest netwerk.org page 4 of 5

9b. Why is this feast the most important day of the year for each follower of King Jesus? (answer) On this day, we are again cleared of the death penalty, and we can work on how to continue living in holiness. 10b. This sixth fundament is expressed in a feast during which you stay in a hut or tent for several days of the year, preferably in Jerusalem. What is the name of this feast? (answer) Feast of Tabernacles / Sukkot. 11b. In the seventh fundament, you take three decisions. Below are four possible decisions. Which of these is not a decision you take in the seventh fundament? Choose between: a. As for me and my household, we will serve the LORD (Joshua 24:15); b. I go into my world and preach the gospel to my family, my friends, my enemies and everyone I can reach; c. I am hospitable and care for the weak in the Name of King Jesus, and I spend part of my time, money and other things I have on it; d. I make sure that I am loyal to visiting the meetings on Sundays. (answer) The odd one out is d. I make sure that I am loyal to visiting the meetings on Sundays. (comment) What you must be loyal to, is your responsibility towards your fellow humans by reaching them with the gospel. 12b. Discuss with one another what you must do to reach the next phase (the next fundament) or how you put it to practice. huisfeest netwerk.org page 5 of 5
