Adepts Mother Mary and Jesus Sunday Service Children s Story Materials: - Pictures for story or power point presentation with pictures. If storyteller uses power point slides, they don t have to show the pictures too. Time: 10 minutes depending on delivery of presenter and children s responses. Good morning and welcome. Today we re going to hear a story about two ascended masters who are adepts. Do you know what an adept is? An adept has the ability in controlling matter and physical forces. In other words, it appears as if the adept is performing miracles. Did you know that we should expect miracles to happen? (Pause.) In a dictation given in 1987, Mother Mary said, Miracles are indeed a fulfillment of cosmic law and not an exception, and they come about because of the graces that are stored in the causal body of those involved. i Let s hear the story now about two adepts both of whom you know very well. The Story of Two Adepts Long ago our Father- Mother God, Alpha and Omega called the Archeia Mary, to come before them. Archangel Raphael accompanied his twin flame to stand before the throne of the twin flames of a cosmos. Alpha and Omega had an important announcement to make. 1

Alpha and Omega told them that Mary would embody on earth and would be the mother of the Saviour Jesus Christ and that Raphael would remain in heaven to guard her and Jesus. (Show picture of Mother Mary.) Although Archangels generally do not take embodiment, they accepted the assignment. Mary was chosen for this mission because of her devotion to the Mother Light. She had several embodiments to prepare to become the mother of Jesus. In the early days of Atlantis, Mary served in the Healing Temple and studied the healing arts and learned about precipitation. (Show picture of Atlantis.) Do you know what precipitation means? (Allow children to answer.) Mary learned how to bring spiritual energy into the physical and used this energy for such things as healing. We would call this a miracle. Adepts have learned how to be one with their Mighty I AM Presence and conduct the spiritual energies of God. After several more embodiments Mary was ready for her last embodiment to perform the service of being the mother of Jesus. Do you think Jesus might have learned some of the inner mysteries of how to perform miracles from his mother? (Show picture of Mother Mary and Jesus.) Most likely, just like God ordained your parents to be your spiritual teachers and they teach you things that they know how to do, Mary taught Jesus. We know that Mother Mary was the one who encouraged Jesus to begin his mission. Jesus and his mother were at a wedding and Jesus was supposed to perform his first miracle, but he was delaying. Was 2

there ever a time when you knew that you were supposed to do something, but wanted to put it off until later? Like maybe doing your homework? Who is the one who encourages you to get your assignment finished? Yes, your mother or father. Let s hear now the story of Jesus first miracle. (John 2: 1-12) On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. (Show picture of wedding feast.) When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to him, They have no wine. And Jesus said to her, Woman, what concern is that to you and to me? My hour has not yet come. His mother said to the servants, Do whatever he tells you. Now standing there were six stone water- jars for the Jewish rites of purification, each holding twenty or thirty gallons. Jesus said to them, Fill the jars with water. And they filled them up to the brim. He then said to them, Now draw some out, and take it to the chief steward. So they took it. When the steward tasted the water that had become wine, and did not know where it came from (though the servants who had drawn the water knew) the steward called the bridegroom and said to him, Everyone serves the good wine first, and then the inferior wine after the guests have become drunk. But you have kept the good wine until now. 3

Jesus did this, the first of his signs, in Cana of Galilee, and revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him. So what miracle did Jesus perform? (Allow children to answer.) Of course this was the first of many miracles Jesus performed in public. Yet, Jesus learned about the flow of energy when he was a youth. When someone is good at something, do they generally have to practice? Yes, whether it s in art or music or math. Jesus practiced as a boy. In the book The Lost Years of Jesus, it states that there are records of Jesus performing miracles. While Jesus was growing up in Egypt and Palestine, he performed many healings and other miracles. One act was that of Jesus healing the foot of a boy. Another time he carried water in his cloak. And this act must have made his father very happy. Do you think it would be easy to carry water in your coat? What would happen? (Allow children to answer.) Here s something else Jesus did. He made a short wooden beam longer to help Joseph with his carpentry. (Show picture of Jesus and Joseph.) In another story it is told that Jesus formed twelve sparrows out of clay. Then with a clap of his hands, he was able to bring them to life. (Prophet, The Lost Years of Jesus, pg. 9) Jesus certainly was one with his Mighty I AM Presence, wasn t he? CONCLUSION: Both Mother Mary and Jesus set the example for us so that we can learn how to use God s energy for everything we need to fulfill our 4

mission in this life. We might not bring sparrows to life, but every time we give the violet flame or the Hail Mary with devotion in our hearts, we are bringing God s energy here on earth. Let s end our story by reciting one Hail Mary. (Recite one time devotionally with children.) Thank you for being here at our children s story. Have a wonderful day.
