From the Pastor "Jesus Christ did the things God wanted him to do. And because of that, we are made holy through the sacrifice of Christ s body. Christ made that sacrifice one time - enough for all time." Hebrews 1:1 (Easy-to-Read Version) It's EASTER SUNDAY! Jesus died on the cross and rose three days later so that we could walk in personal relationship with Him and do things His way! God's will and way is always perfect. There's no doubt about that. Do you trust that truth? Well, if we don't trust God's will and way, His desires, and His leading, then what's the alternative? The alternative is that we follow satan. I know that sounds rough. But if we're not for God, then we're against Him, right? I'm going to share something that someone once shared with me. It gets to the point of being on the enemy's side instead of God's side. The Devil's Beatitudes BLESSED are they who are easily offended, for they get angry and quit church. BLESSED are they who do not give their tithes to carry on God's work and mission, for they are my helpers. BLESSED is he who professes to love God but hates his brother, for he will be with me forever. BLESSED are the troublemakers, for they shall be called the children of the devil. BLESSED is he who has no time to pray, for he shall be easy prey for me. BLESSED are they who are too tired and busy to assemble with the church on Sundays, for they are my best workers. BLESSED are they who are bored with the minister's mannerisms and mistakes, for they will get nothing out of the sermon. BLESSED is the church member who expects to be invited to his own church, for he is very important to me. BLESSED are they who do not meet with the church on Sunday, for they cause the world to say "the church is failing." I thought we would all enjoy that. But I also hope we will let the truth of that sink in. This Easter, whose side are you on? I love each of you. Happy Easter and may the Resurrected Lord fill your heart with His love, joy, grace, and peace! I love each of you. Notice from our Chairman of Deacons: Please call the office if you have church keys so that we may have an accurate list. Thank you.
