He was born February 25, 1999, to Samuel Evans Garry and Jamie Gayle (Porter) George in Plano, Texas. Adam attended Allen High School where he played football for the Allen Eagles as a defensive end. He attended every game this season. Even though he wasn't able to play, he was there with his team on the sidelines and was an inspiration at each game. He enjoyed working for Cheddars in Allen where he touched so many people without even knowing it. Adam was a member of First Baptist Church Allen. He attended many summer camps and enjoyed his time with his youth group. He was always the one to give back, whether it was volunteering at Vacation Bible School or being a leader at camp. He definitely inspired so many. He is survived by his mother, Jamie George, and step-father, Curt, of Allen, father, Samuel Garry, and step-mom, Mary Jane; brother, Benjamin Garry; grandparents, Stephen and Teresa Garry; and uncle, William Garry, all of Garland, Texas. Adam was preceded in death by his grandmother, Nelda Porter, and many other family members. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at First Baptist Church in Allen. Memorials may be made to The Make a Wish Foundation in his memory. Through this organization, he was able to live out his dream in New York City at Good Morning America. The memories made there will never be forgotten. We closed our eyes, but for one moment and suddenly a man stood where a boy used to be. We may not be able to carry you in our arms, but we will always carry you in our hearts. You gave us so many reasons to be proud of the man you became. But, the proudest moment was telling others you were our son. We will always be proud of you Adam and we love you TOO much!!! Memorials
