Memorials Dr. Habashy delivered all three of my sister s children and the youngest of my two. He was the kindest, most compassionate doctor I ve ever dealt with. All of us share in your loss, but rejoice in the hope that we ll all be together once more. Thank you for sharing him with us. LYNDA CAYTON, APRIL 9, 2018 My two sons were part of those 10,000 babies that Dr. Habashy delivered. I will always remember him as soft-spoken and willing to pray with you if desired. He was a wonder doctor. I wish there were more like him. JENA SMITH, AUGUST 23, 2016 So sorry to hear about the passing of Dr. Habashy. He was my doctor for 41 years. He was a wonderful Christian man. All doctors should have taken a class from him to truly learn what being a doctor meant. He cared about his patients and was always available to talk to when you needed him. I think what I loved most about Dr. Habashy was the way he ministered about God. He was the only doctor that prayed with me after my appointment. I know (his family) will truly miss him. We were all blessed to have known such a wonderful person. BARBARA VELASCO, JULY 22, 2015 My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I was a patient of Dr. Habashy for almost 40 years and have been truly blessed in knowing him. I look forward to seeing him in heaven. DIANA STAPP, JULY 8, 2015 I was really saddened to hear of Dr. Habashy's passing. He was my doctor years ago, and then he moved his practice, so I lost touch with him. A few years later I was blessed to find him again. He was such a nice, sincere man. He really expressed his love for Jesus, and I'm happy to know he his rejoicing in Heaven now with the Savior. DELICIA STRUSS, JUNE 8, 2015
Dear Patsy and Family, It is a great loss when a dear person like Labib is gone. We know it was a time of sorrow and joy for you as he went to be with the Lord. Patsy, you have been in my thoughts and prayers so much the last few months, now I understand why. Our thoughts and prayers continue for you. It seems not so long ago that we had our Jim and your Elizabeth together as babies on the Gulf Coast. Both born in August 1966. We 've enjoyed keeping up with your family over the years through cards and phone calls. May you experience clarity, good health, and the ever present comfort of the Holy Spirit in the months ahead. We send you our love. BONNIE SUE BROWN, MAY 14, 2015 Patsy and family, so sorry to hear of Labib's homegoing, so sorry for your loss but rejoicing in his gain being with Jesus. The memories years ago of your singing at our wedding Patsy, and the memory of his telegram to us wishing us blessings and congrats will always be cherished in my heart. It was so good to hear from you at Christmas the past few yrs. and he was always so gracious in writing us a personal note on the card. God bless you all. with love, Jimmie Lou JIMMIE LOU GARRISON BLAIR, MAY 9, 2015 I want to offer my thoughts and prayers to your family. Labib and I worked together at the office in Clear Lake. He was kind, caring, and intelligent. He invited me to observe surgery on a mutual patient and his skills were artful. He was a good Christian man and he will be missed. PATTY EWERT, MAY 4, 2015 My heart is so heavy. I grieve for you all as you grieve the loss of your husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, brother in Christ, friend and colleague. Since meeting and seeing you all as a young family at first baptist church in Texas city years ago, I always admired each of you. Then having dr habashy as my on/gyn, delivering my son 26 years ago then continuing to be my dr until his retirement in May. I knew he was a very special person and dr. I felt very safe, and trusted his integrity, his knowledge, always reassuring in every situation. He is irreplaceable. I have yet to find a dr like him, and am
convinced I never will again. He was always sincere, genuine, and a Godly man of faith. Always handing out the little open window devotions at each appointment. That was so meaningful to me and my husband. Mrs Habashy and family please know you are in my prayers. I pray that as you grieve you will grieve as those who have hope in the resurrection, eternity through dr habashy s savior Jesus. Dr habashy has been and will be missed. May The Holy Spirit comfort you all. CINDY NARVAEZ, APRIL 22, 2015 BELOVED BROTHER: GOD CHOSE TO TAKE YOU AND WE HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO SURRENDER TO HIS WILL. He should have been the trainer of all medical staff. He was my OB-Gyn for 27 years! I am now 54 years old and yes my 82 year old mother and 27 year old daughter were his patients also. My last appointment was on his last day of work last year. I cried from the time I walked in the door until I left..hugged him so hard before I left...this man was God's angel..i have so many stories. You guys have my heartfelt sympathy..he left a rich legacy for you guys to remember always...i will.
Heaven is brighter with his million dollar smile. MAE DELL JOHNS-FRANCIS, APRIL 20, 2015 I am so sorry for your loss! Dr. Habashy was my OB/GYN and delivered my only son.
