SCHEDULE PASTORAL SCHEME This Scheme is made by the Church Commissioners ("the Conimissioners") this 5th day of January 1998 in pursuance of the Pastoral Measure 1983, the Right Reverend Thomas, Bishop of Leiccstcr, having consented thereto. WHEREAS 1. (1) by virtue of Pan I1 of a Scheme niade by the Co~ninixsioncrs on the 5th day ofapril 1984 and confirmed by an Order of Her Majesty in Council dated the 18th day of May 1984 ("the 1984 Scheme") a group ministry was to lie established for the new benefice of Fleckncy and Kilby and the new benefice of Great Glen, Stretton Manna and Wisto\v cum Ncw-ton Harcourt, both in the iiioccsc of Ixicester, iipo~i such date as the Coniniissior~crs, alter consultation with the Bishop, should determine; (2) the Con~missioners have not determined that Part I1 ofthc 1984 Schen~e shall conic into operation; (3) by virtue of a further Scheme niade by the Commissioners on the 4th day of March 1982 and confirmed by an Order of Her Majesty in Council on the 10th day of March 1982 ("the 1982 Schenie") a new benefice of csaulby was created in the diocese of Ixiccstcr, am1 the area of the new benefice conipriscil the new parish of Gaulliy with King's Norton arul 1.itt.l~ Strctton created by the union of the former parish of Gaulby and the former parish of King's Norton ~\itli Stretton Parva; tlic new parish of Carlton Curlieu with Illston am1 Shangt<~n crcatcil liy the wiion of the fornicr

constitute a new parish and be named "The Parish of The daulby Group", shall be the areas which comprised the former parish of Gaulby, the forincr parish of King's Norton with Strctton Parva and the former parish of Illston on the Hill immediately before the 1982 Scheme came into effect. (2) The church of Saint Peter, Gaulby, the church of Saint John the Baptist, King's Norton and the church of Saint Michael and All Angels, Illston on the Hill, being three of the parish churches of tlic old parish of the Gaulby Group, shall all be parish churches of the new parish. (3) The new benefice and its constituent parish shall belong to the archdeaconry of lxiccstcr and the deanery of Gartrcc Second Division. (4) If immediately before this Schen~e conles into operation the Reverend Ashley Frederick Bnicc Chcesman is incun~bent of the lxnrficc of Gaiilby lie sliall lie the first incumbent of the new benefice. (5) The parsonage house of the benefice of daulby shall be vested in the incumbent of the new benefice in his corporate capacity as his official resiclcncc. (6) The patronage of the new benefice shall be vestcil in the Church Society Trust, whose registered office is at Dean Wacc House, 16, Rosslyn Road, Warforti, Wnl 7EY. Creation of new benefice and parish of Shangton 4. (1) A new benefice which shall be named "The Brncficc of Shangton" shall be created in the diocese of Leicestcr, and the area of tjic new benefice, which shall constitute a new parish and be named "'ITic Parish of Shangton", shall be the area which

(2) The church of Saint Nicholas, Shangton, being one of the parish churches of the old parish oftlic Gaulby Group, shall be the parish church of tlic new parish. (4) The patronage of the new bcncficc shall be vested in [lie Martyrs' Memorial and Church of England Trust, whose registered office is at CPAS, Atlicna Drive, Tachhrook Park, Warwick, CV34 6NG. Creation of new benefice of Church Langton cum Tur Langton, Thorpc Langton, Stonton Wyvillc and Shangton 5. (1) The benefice of Church lai~ton with "I'ur Iangton, 'I'liorpc la11gt011 a1111 Stonton Wyvillc and tiic benefice of Sliangton created pursuant to clause 4( 1 ) licrcof iii the diocese of Ixiccstcr sliall be united to create a new l>cncficc which shall be named "The Benefice of Church Iangton cum 1iu I-angton, Thorpc Iangton, Stonton Wyville and Shangtoi~", and tlic area of the new liencficc sliall comprise the parish of Churcli Iangton with Tur Langton and Thorpc Iangton, the parish of Stonton WyviUc and 11ic parish of Shangton created pursuant to clause 4( 1) hereof, which parislies shall continue distinct. (2) The new Iuncficc and its constituent parishes shall belong to the archdeaconry of Ixiccstcr and the deanery of Gartrec First Division.

(3) The parsonage house of the benefice of Church Langton with Tur Langton, Thorpc Langton and Stonton Wyvillc shall be the place of residence of the incumbent of the new benefice. (4) The riglit of presentation to the new bcnclicc sliall on each occasion be exercised jointly by the Bishop of Leicester in his corporate capacity, Eilniinid Bdcncll, Esquire, of Dccnc Park, Corhy, Northamptonshire and the Martyrs' Mcn~orial and Church of England Trust, whose registered office is at CPAS, Atlicna Drive, 'Iachbrook Park, Warwick, CV34 6NG. Transfer of parish of Wistow cum Newton Harcourt and alteration of benefice name 6. The parish of Wistow cum Newton Harcoi~rt, being one of the constituent parishes of the benefice of Great Glen, Strctton Magna anti Wistow cum Newton Harcourt in the diocese of Ixiccstcr, shall be transferred to the benefice of Flcckncy and Kilby (the name of which shall be altered to "The Benefice of Fleckucv am1 Kilhy awl Wistow cum Newton Harcourt") in the same diocese. Creation of new benefice and parish of Carlton Curlicu and Burton Overy 7. (1) A new benefice which shall be named "The Benefice of Carlton Ctirlieu and Burton @cry" shall lie created in the diocese of [~iccstcr, and the area of the new benefice, which shall constitute a new parish and be named "The Parish of Carlton Curlicii and Bimon Ovcrym, shall be the areas which conipriscd the forn~cr parish of
