ANSWERING QUESTIONS, such as: Is it possible to have a personal relationship with God? Who is Jesus? Is He really relevant to day-to-day life? Can I experience forgiveness? How? Sunday, 9:30 (begins Sept. 25) ALPHA is a practical introduction to the Christian faith in a warm and friendly setting. Topics include: Is Christianity True? Who is Jesus? Can I be sure of my faith? Come and talk with other people who have traveled the same spiritual journey, and learn more about what it really means to be a Christian. Each 1 hour class is filled with a brief talk and open, stimulating dialogue. Emphasis is on God s Word about His Son, the Holy Spirit and living out our faith as fellow believers. The course is a sanctuary of teaching, love and life for the new believer, where he/she can share prayer requests and learn the teachings of the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, and how best to incorporate faith into our every day lives. Each person will be able to examine the text and participate in a joint discussion of its meaning. This study will be conducted at a beginners level; no previous knowledge of the Bible is necessary.
