CATECHETICAL FORMATION PROGRAMME This course is intended for all those starting out in the Ministry of Catechesis, as well as those who need to update their vision and understanding of catechesis as an initiation into the life and mission of Christ. First Reconciliation 1-30th June First Reconciliation 2-21 st July First Communion 1-28th July First Communion 2-11th August It is recommended that all catechists undergo this initial course before undertaking any further formation. Post Communion Post Communion Confirmation 1-15th September Confirmation 2-220d September The format of the course has changed this this year in that it will include a practical component aimed at each of the particular faith levels on the catechetical journey. RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS - RCIA This course aims at those Catechists who are involved, in or would like to be involved in, the implementation of the Baptismal Catechumenate in their parish.
