Philippians 4:4 - "Rejoice in the Lord Always. Again, I say Rejoice!" Mission Statement St. Peter's Lutheran School follows Christ's command to Feed My Lambs through a challenging and well-rounded education centered on God's Word. Confirmation Verses Sunday, May 1, was a very special day for many of our 8th graders - Confirmation. This was a day in which the 8th graders publicly confessed their Christian faith. Each one has a special Bible verse for this special day and we honor them by sharing their verses. May God continue to bless each one of them! Jacob Massucci - But now, this is what the Lord says - he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. Isaiah 43:1 Chris Meyer - Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 Ashley Olson - Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 Lewis Ostermeyer - I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes; first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. Romans 1:16 Madelyn Redding - Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O Lord. they rejoice in your name all day long; they exult in your righteousness. Psalm 89:15-16 Katherine Rehmer - Even youths grow tired and wary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. The will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:30-31

Maria Stansbury - Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:10-12 Alec Steele - Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come. Revelation 4:8b Madison Swanson - Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1 Delaney Werling - Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. PS: Pastor's Sermon Pastor Don Nord is preaching his farewell sermon this coming weekend. His sermon is titled "The Time Has Come for My Departure." Please take some time to prepare for worship by reading the Bible passages before attending church. The scripture readings will be: Ecclesiastes 3:1-13; 2 Timothy 4:1-2, 5-7 and Mark 16:14-16, 19-20. Our Prayer List Throughout this year we will use this section to post prayer requests that have been shared with us via note or email. We also will include a number of families each week. Please include all in your personal prayer time as well. Thanksgiving that Miss Heather Volmerding has accepted her Call to be our Sixth Grade Teacher next fall. Mr. B Accepts Call to Wyneken Dear Members of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and School, I am very thankful for the opportunity to have served in ministry at St. Peter's since 1997. I have been fortunate to serve as teacher and as principal. I pray that my service here has been as much a blessing to St. Peter's as it has blessed me. On May 4 I received a Divine Call from Wyneken Memorial Lutheran School Association to serve as their principal. For the past 2 weeks I have prayerfully considered my current Call to St. Peter's and this new Call to Wyneken. I am writing this to share that I have been led by the Holy Spirit to accept the Call to serve Wyneken as their principal. Again I thank the members of St. Peter's for the opportunity to serve for the past 14 years and I ask God to continue to bless St. Peter's Church and School.
