Mr. DeArmond was a victim of tuberculous, having been ill for over a year. He was formerly a resident of Logansport but had made his home in Star City for about eight years. He was born in Bartholomew County and was past seventy-four years old. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Blanche Davison, and brother, William DeArmond, both of Danville, Illinois, and by his brother John at Star City, at whose home he died. Funeral services were held Saturday at the DeArmond home in Star City, conducted by Rev. D. E. Noland. Interment was given in the Mount Hope Cemetery at Logansport.
