Middle School Girls Early Childhood News Preparations for Pesach are in full swing here in the Early Childhood division! Each class is getting ready in their own way for this important holiday. It's hard to believe it's coming so soon! We also wish a hearty Mazal Tov to Morah Barbara Balk on the recent marriage of her daughter, Leora, to Shmuel Lesher. We are happy to have Morah Barbara back with us in school! Have a great Shabbos! It was been quite a week! Each day this week, the girls have been busy with the State testing in addition to their regular morning classes and classes after the test as well. I am so proud of how the girls truly gave it their all and approached the test with determination and diligence. Great Job! Mazal tov to the Fifth Grade Girls for finishing perek yud gimmel in Chumash! The girls enjoyed a delicious siyum where each food item was connected to their learning. The girls have also been working on their haggados for Pesach! They have been reviewing different halachos and concepts that connect to Pesach. The girls also enjoyed a game of Pesach taboo that tested their Pesach trivia! Mazal tov to the Sixth Grade Girls for finishing perek chaf in Chumash! The girls are following Bnei Yisrael as they plan a travel route to Eretz Yisrael.Another mazal tov to the sixth grade girls for finishing perek yud dalet in Navi! The girls are understanding the importance of each action as they learn about Shaul's failure to wipe out Amalek. With Pesach just a few weeks away, the girls have been super busy preparing their beautiful haggados! The Seventh Grade Girls have begun to learn the story of Shlomo HaMelech's birth in Navi! They also have been focusing a lot on good study and test taking habits this week. In Chumash, the girls have learned the greatness of the reward that Pinchas received and they are ready to move on to the next part of parshas Pinchas! Mazal tov to the Eighth Grade Girls for finishing perakim yud dalet, tes vav, and tes zayin in Navi! The girls traced Malchus Yehuda and Malchus Yisrael, and they are saddened by the situation that Bnei Yisrael are in. The girls were able to really put their Ivrit skills to work as they learned how long each king ruled with the numbers they have just learned! Mazal tov to Faiga Raubvogel for earning the BINA trip this week!! Keep up the great work!! There are only a few weeks left to earn BINA points so take advantage!! The boys have made a tremendous kiddush Hashem throughout the whole process. In kodesh, each class is busy preparing their Divrei Torah to share at the Seder. All families that submit their completed registration materials along with their registration fee by April 18, 2016 will have $100 of the per student fee credited towards their next year s tuition balance.
