New Year s Eve Party for LEFC Youth 7-12 grade and previous Youth Group December 31 starting at 8 pm Bring a food item to share with the group. There will be indoor games, outdoor games (broomball if the ice is safe) and a movie at 10 pm all at Matt & Rhonda Skjonsbys home. (218-575-2961) We are pleased to let you know that we have an Interim Pastor, Dawson Grover, joining Lincoln EFC on January 2, 2013. Dawson and his wife, Karen, are very excited to have this opportunity to come and minister to our church family. We trust you will be in prayer for them and for the church. May we be an encouragement to them!

Church Wide Youth Group will resume January 9, 2013 at Camp Shamineau at 6:30 pm Youth Praise Practice will resume on January 9, 2013 at 5:00 pm ~Awana~ There will be NO Awana on January 2. We will resume our normal schedule on January 9, 2013. Sunday School Classes resume on Sunday, January 6, at 9:30 am. Adult Class will be studying the book The Five Languages of Apology by Gary Chapman. Class facilitator will be Tab Erickson. Verndale Family Life Church will be having a Benefit to help raise funds to cover costs of repairs after fire ripped through the church before Thanksgiving. More details to follow via email. Date for benefit is January 5, 2013 Deacon Board members are encouraged to come and pray before Sunday service. They will meet in the SW room of the Sanctuary from 10:30 to 10:45 am.

You might find a wonderful Christmas greeting or two! If you don t have a box, please notify the office and we can take care of that. The Search Committee has met. The next meeting will be January 8. You are asked to stand along side Wes Johnson, Chris Lindquist, Amber Craft, Randy Nelson, Jeff Cueva, Brenda Strohschein, and Venus King as they meet and pray to follow God s guidance as He leads us to a new pastor.

Remember to pray for these Senior Adults; we miss them as they are unable to attend our church. Verona Aleshire Dixie Benge Lucille Cameron Margaret Harmon Norma Lowry Ruth Olsen A New Year is a great time to commit to a New Plan!! Announcing a new Sunday School class for the Young Adults. This would include those who are post high school, college students, and anyone under the age of 30 who is not married. This group will meet Sundays beginning January 6 at 9:30 to 10:30 am off site at Campfire Bay in the Fireside Room at the Lodge. It will be facilitated by Ken Noordmans and will be a true study of the Word...back to Scripture. This makes it very easy for you to jump in when you are here on a Sunday.
