PRAYER OF INVOCATION All: Eternal God, we give thanks and praise for Jesus preparedness to show us your true nature and your true character - for in Jesus words we hear the resonance of your voice, and in his deeds we see the imprint of your hands. We give thanks that Jesus presence disclosed a new reality at work in the world - the reality of your kingdom O God, where what was broken is mended, what was afflicted is relieved, what was bound is set free and what was excluded is included. We pray that our worship here today will enable us to catch a glimpse of your kingdom, to hear the resonance of your voice, to know the imprint of your hand on our lives and to experience the breath of your Spirit in our bodies. The Youth Group is still collecting items for Health Kits for UMCOR. All Items for the health Kit need to be brought to the church through the summer. Health kits provide basic necessities to people who have been forced to leave their homes because of human conflict or natural disaster. Health kits are also used as learning tools in personal hygiene, literacy, nutrition and cooking classes. When people gain the knowledge and materials to maintain personal hygiene, their overall health improves. 1 hand towel (15" x 25" up to 17" x 27") 1 washcloth 1 comb (large and sturdy, not pocket-sized) 1 nail file or fingernail clippers (no emery boards or toenail clippers) 1 bath-size bar of soap (3 oz. and up) 1 toothbrush (single brushes only in original wrapper, No child-size brushes) 1 large tube of toothpaste (4.5 oz. or larger, expiration date must be 6 months or longer in advance of the date of shipment to UMCOR Sager Brown) 6 adhesive plastic strip sterile bandages Place these items inside a sealed one-gallon plastic bag. There will be a box in the Fellowship Hall, in a separate envelope, please send a check for at least $1 for each kit to help UMCOR Sager Brown with the costs of processing and shipping kits around the world. Bottle Caps We are still collecting bottle caps to make a Bottle Cap Mosaic, made from recycled plastic bottle caps, at the town fair. Please continue saving and bringing in all your plastic bottle caps, all colors. The bin is outside the Youth room. Dancing Angels - Alyssa Hausman, Gabbi Paulson, Maria Schneider, Allie and Bailey Cordell Margaret Patterson and Phoenix Mack. The chorus of this song is what held the inspiration and reason for performing this on Mother s Day. When the heart feels too big for the body, there is dance. YELIEL (MY ANGEL) Yeliel, my angel Know that I can hear you And every word you speak is holy Wind caressing me Yeliel, my angel Know that I can see you And when I fall I feel your arms around My destiny Protecting me 9
