Greetings, judgements to be checked so all people experience the surpassing love of Jesus. This month I want to ask you to pray. If you are going to pray for a month, then here are quite a few prayers to begin with. I am hopeful we will be a people of prayer, inquiring of God for help often. Pray for God to continue to have His way with His church here in Tuscola, IL and beyond. Pray for God to give you opportunities to share Jesus with others. Pray that when He gives you the opportunities that you will be faithful. Pray for your words to be His words. Pray for when people accept Jesus through your ministry that you are humble enough to give God the praise for His bigger part in the ministry of forgiving and overcoming sin. Pray for when people reject Jesus that you can realize God is being rejected much more than you are. Pray for leaders. Pray for the leaders of First Christian Church. Pray for leaders in the schools. Pray for leaders in the town. Pray for leaders in our county. Pray for leaders in our state. Pray for leaders at the federal level. Pray that God would stir the heart and spirit of those who lead us so God might accomplish His work through them. Pray that they will know Jesus and accept His free gift of salvation. Pray for those who are your enemies. Pray for your friends. Pray for your family. Pray for marriages around you and if you are married, pray for your own marriage. Pray for protection from attacks and pray against sin. P R Pray for lost people everywhere. Maybe pick a country or place where there are lost people. Pray for them regularly and with joy lift them before God. Pray for the lost people in smaller towns than ours. Pray for the lost people in our town. Pray for lost people in urban places and cities. Pray for truth speakers to rise up and find their voice that Jesus might be proclaimed. Pray for boldness to speak of Jesus even when it is considered taboo or wrong to do so. Pray that God will bring people who don t look like us or act like us to us so that we can share Jesus with all. A Y Pray for more and more sinners to come to church. Pray for attitudes of the saved to be ready to love the lost. Pray for facial expressions and MARCH 2019, Vol. 60 Pray when lost people hear the name of Jesus and realize what He has done for all humanity. Pray for lost people you know by name. Pray for them to want and desire a relationship with Jesus. Pray that God might have His way with you. Pray and ask if God is asking you to stop something you are doing. Pray and ask if God wants you to start something new. Pray God s leading and your simple obedience to work hand in hand. Pray for your answer to the Lord to be the answer of, Yes, Lord. Pray for time to rest and take time to rest. Pray to understand His will and search His word to understand how His will often takes shape. Pray for wisdom and understanding from God. Pray for your faith and then choose to faith. Pray against your doubt. Pray for obedience and be obedient. Pray for opportunities to do more and then do more. Pray for your children and lead them. Pray for your grandchildren and lead them. Pray for faithfulness. Pray for times to give God s great name praise and when He answers that prayer, praise Him. Pray in all things, never cease in your prayers. Pray for God s purposes to be realized and for your own to take less precedence. Pray that we will be a people of prayer. Pray that we will be a people of action. Pray for God to bring us supernatural unity. Pray for the witness of testimony in our church to take shape. Pray for opportunities to love and live like Jesus and when God gives them to you, choose to love and live like Jesus. My prayers are with you Church, Blessings, les 2
