There were breakout sessions covering the duties of each officer, committees, and best practices for leagues. The seating arrangement was done by subject matter which insured that women from different chapters sat with people they might not otherwise have known. There was a lively exchange of ideas and information amongst the women; collaboration is alive and well! Our President Jacqueline Morgan won one of three two hundred dollar scholarships to help defray costs of attending the 2015 National Women s Leadership Conference October 15-17 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. 1

Greetings, ABWA sisters and members. First I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for allowing me to serve you as your new president. I am truly honored and excited to work with each one of you to deliver you the best ABWA experience. My sole purpose for the 2015-2016 season is to assist you in delivering on these three words that we included in our vision statement: GROW, STRETCH, and EXCEL. First, I hope that by being a part of this chapter that we help you grow personally, professionally, emotionally and spiritually. Second, I hope that you stretch your wings and soar into one of our many committees so that you can unleash the talent that lies inside of you. Finally, I hope that through our experiences this year, this organization can excel to new and greater heights. Again thank you for this opportunity and let us all enjoy this ride together.
