RAŠTO DARBO PAVYZDYS, ĮVERTINTAS 2 LYGIU PAGAL LKS STANAG 6001 REIKALAVIMUS 1 užduotis (žr. 3 psl.) Dear Raimis, How are you? How is your family? How is your lovely cat? I m writing to your in regard of the training event which I took two days ago. I was running 7 km of cross-country run. It was the military organized event, so the participant were guys and girl from service. Firstly, it was really neat organized. Everybody got some gifts from organizers. The have been refreshments along the route. Most participants have been from Lithuanian National Guard. One can understand that a lot of best and finest lithuanian runners are members of Lithuanian National Guard. All three prizes went to them. Next, the have been some playgrounds arranged for those participant who came with families. As well, there was some mock-up race made between the babies. Everybody had some fun. In addition, I would like to point out, that the training program you have made me, was a complete success. Eventhough I came 91 out of 141 participants, I made my personal best result this year and I am so happy. Lastly, I remember your knee is still aching after last year s incident, but I have a proposal for you this same event after 4 month. We only have to train a bit harder and I hope your health will be at top. Looking forward to hear from you soon Best regards Kostas 2 užduotis Some wise man said who we are today is defined by our choices in the past. And that s true. I think it is the first thing the newborn baby understands that his actions will lead to some reactions soon. You could pick some different aspects in this article name. Firstly, as I mentioned before about a baby, genetic programmed aspect. We are genetically programmed to choose something. For example, if a baby cries, he probably is hungry. Feeding him will send him information I cried, I got food! Next aspect is personal one. And I am talking about grown-ups person s choices. At some period in year 1998 I decided, that it is not to my interests to go serve in the army, so I have signed to Lithuanian National Guard. After some months I realized that this serving in National Guard is somewhat nice and appealing to me. Looking from todays perspective, irronically, my negligance towards serving in the army led me to serving in the army! The last aspect I would like to point out would be social one. And by that I meen the choices the groups of people make. Some 23 years ago we, lithuanians, have chosen to stand at the Baltic road together with fellow latvians and estonians, showing all the world that we are making the choice, so we are expecting the different future. Looking at today s Ukraine or Bialorusia I am happy we made that choice. We made our future. The only sad thing is that the time flows one direction and that we can not see past our choices. We can not predict the future. We will never know was it bad or good choice we made 5

Pirmos užduoties komentarai Turinys: nesudėtingos pastraipos duota tema, paliesti visi 5 temos punktai, bet neišplėtoti, darbo apimtis 225 žodžiai. Organizacija: pastraipos gana rišliai jungiamos, laikomasi rašinio struktūros, pvz.: I m writing... in regard; firstly; next; in addition; I would like to point out; lastly, todėl laiškas labai formalus, o tai neatitinka neoficialaus laiško rašymo reikalavimų. Žodynas: pagrindinės leksinės formos vartojamos beveik visada tinkamai, žodynas vidutiniškai turtingas. Kalbos vartojimas: beveik visada taisyklingai vartojami esamasis, būtasis ir būsimasis laikai, sudėtingesnės struktūros vartojamos ne visada tiksliai, pvz.: I m writing to your; event which I took two days ago; the participant were guys and girl; really neat organized; the have been refreshments; most participants have been; as well, there was; between the babies; 4 month; looking forward to hear from you soon. Rašyba: yra keletas klaidų, pvz.: lithuanian; the have been some...; eventhough. Kadangi teksto jungimo priemonės vartojamos netinkamai, pvz.: firstly; next; and; so; and by that arba jų trūksta, tai tekstas tampa sunkiai suprantamas, nerišlus. Kalbos vartojimas: netaisyklingai vartojamos pagrindinės gramatinės struktūros, pvz.: next aspect is personal one; you could pick some different aspects in this article name; grown-ups person s choices; in year 1998; to go serve in the army; todays some 23 years ago we, lithuanians, have chosen to stand; we are expecting the different future; we will never know was it bad or good choice we made. Rašyba: yra daug rašybos klaidų, pvz.: irronically; negligance; meen; lithuanians; latvians; estonians; Bialorusia; can not. 6

RAŠTO DARBO PAVYZDYS, ĮVERTINTAS 3 LYGIU PAGAL LKS STANAG 6001 1 užduotis (žr. 3 psl.) REIKALAVIMUS Dear John, How are you doing? Dindn t hear anything from you this month. I have just finished my two-weeks long yoga training course. I must tell you, it was great! Firstly, I could relax from my work in the ministry, which was quite demanding lately. Secondly, I ve met so many interesting, warm and friendly people! I feel a huge surge of good energy now. What is more, I ve learnt some yoga positions that are really valuable for the spine and blood pressure. Knowing your health problems, I can t wait to show these exercises to you! Just for the record: the classes took place in a small village near Vilnius, surrounded by beautiful forest. We had 52 participants from three Baltic countries and one Polish teacher. The training was tough: we had to get up at 5 o clock AM and start doing exercises, and we ve exercises for more than five hours every single day! To balance our active daily routine, we had calm and cozy evenings around the fireplace, singing and telling stories. Despite many good memories, the weather was a real failure it was constantly raining and many participants didn t have sufficient clothes for those cool and windy Lithuanian days. Next time, we ll be more prepared. All in all, it was worth taking par in. The next yoga training week will be held in Latvia, in December. I hope I will be able to participate and I suggest you to think about it too. Let me know how you feel about it. Best wishes, Nora 2 užduotis Have you ever thought how your present actions might influence your future? Or how your past actions have influenced who you are and what you have today? Many people carry on with their everyday life thinking that their future is destined and they cannot change it, at least not significantly. But what are the pros and cons of such a mindset? First of all, if you believe in destiny, you can feel less stressful about your life choices, as you think your life is already determined. And feeling less stressful, sometimes (or maybe usually), we unconsciously make better choices. Think about a man who lost his job because he decided to work in the church as a volunteer every evening. He might think this was his destiny or he might think this was his choice that finally made him too tired to work effectively and resulted in a job loss. Should we blame ourselves for doubtful choices or should we trust the destiny when thinking about future? Nobody will ever have a correct and grounded answer, suitable for everyone. However, a person, who choses to take charge of his life and his everyday choices, feels more responsible for his actions, and more eager to learn from his mistakes. A man who makes a constant effort in his family life, or working environment, or community, will probably get better results than a man who thinks that everything is meant-to-be. Start living ecologically today, and you will have a cleaner, safer environment in the future. Put additional work in your latest company project, and probably you will get a promotion, try doing exercises combined with the balanced diet, and you will avoid serious health problems later. Of course, not everything depends on us. But I strongly believe that we can be more powerful and more responsible human beings if we take our everyday choices and actions seriously and make them to create a better life for us in the future. 7

Pirmos užduoties komentarai Turinys: tvarkingos pastraipos duota tema, atsakyta į visus 5 temos punktus, darbo apimtis 255 žodžiai. Organizacija: tiek sakiniai, tiek pastraipos rišliai jungiami beveik visada tinkamai vartojant įvairias teksto jungimo priemones, pvz.: just; firstly; secondly; despite; all in all; what is more. Nors kai kurios teksto jungimo priemonės priskiriamos oficialiajam stiliui, tačiau bendrame kontekste jos nesuteikia laiškui oficialumo, nes vartojama daug šį stilių švelninančių būdvardžių. Žodynas: pagrindinės leksinės formos vartojamos tinkamai, yra daug būdvardžių, pvz.: calm; cosy; windy; cool; huge; valuable. Kalbos vartojimas: taisyklingai vartojami esamasis, būtasis ir būsimasis laikai, sudėtingesnės struktūros vartojamos ne visada tiksliai, pvz.: dindn t hear anything from you this month.; I ve met. Tiek sakiniai, tiek pastraipos rišliai jungiami tinkamai vartojant įvairias teksto jungimo priemones, pvz.: first of all; however; of course; but. Žodynas: pagrindinės leksinės formos vartojamos tinkamai, žodynas turtingas, pvz.: significantly; destiny; unconsciously; doubtful choices; correct and grounded answer; meant to be; mindset. Kalbos vartojimas: taisyklingai vartojamos įvairios pagrindinės ir sudėtingos gramatinės struktūros (retoriniai klausimai, modaliniai veiksmažodžiai). Rašyba: klaidų nėra. 8
