The Pastor s Corner For many decades we have heard the shrill scream of separation of church and state. The Bill of Rights never uses that phrase. It uses the word religion. The Founding Fathers wanted to make sure the government would not sponsor one religion over another and persecute its citizens who would not follow the state sponsored religion. We need to shout back, Separation of religion and state! The religion of humanism or moral relativism is clearly the state supported religion of the United States government. Our tax dollars are used to pay professors at government sponsored institutions who publicly ridicule young Christians in the classroom in their efforts to force them to convert to the religion of humanism. Over the years many of these radical followers of humanism have any threatened to give poor grades to students who would not convert to the teacher s religion. That has to stop. Those sitting on Federal Court Benches make every decision based upon the teachings of their religion. The voice of the people does not matter. The states have no say so. The vote of the citizen is absolutely irrelevant to them. They ignore the Constitution of the United States of America. They are radical followers of the religion of humanism and they will do their best to force every American to convert to their religion. At the core of their religious faith is the teaching that there is no such thing as right and wrong. They despise the Christian doctrines of sin and salvation. The religion of humanism first surfaced in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve decided they would not allow God to tell them what to do. They would be gods unto themselves and chose for themselves what was right and wrong. Should these judges and justices wish to practice their ancient religion that is their constitutional right and every true American will defend that right. But those sitting on federal benches are using the power of the government to boldly state that their religion is the only one that matters. They are shouting, We will force you less evolved Americans to bend your feeble knees at the altar of our gods. It is time for Christians to rise up and say, We have rights too! We have the right won by the blood of heroes to worship our God as we see fit in freedom and faith. We have the right as citizens of states to vote and have those votes mean something! We must use our voices now for if we do not the Federal Courts will soon be stripping us of freedom of speech. Any words spoken that disagree with their religion will be labeled as hate speech. For just as surely as they as they have silenced our votes, they will next silence our voices. Pray for America! Pastor Will Hamric
