From The Pastor s Desk... Greetings to you all in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! What a joy it is to be in the presence of the Lord on this Lord s Day and experience warm Christian fellowship with our members and all visitors who are with us today. Today is our Youth Service and we want to thank all the Youth who are participating in the service. May the Lord use them in a special way to bring Glory to God! We come, this morning with great expectations and pray that the Lord our God will graciously minister to our hearts and lives through His Word and Spirit. Today, we welcome Stan and Ann vander Kroef into the membership of our Church family. We welcome you both warmly and pray that you will have many fruitful and wonderful years with us. As part of our Reading Program, the next book to be read is the Book of Numbers which will be discussed on 22 November. Prayer Points... Let us remember those who need our prayers and may the Lord make us faithful in praying for one another. Pray for those with ongoing health problems, physical, mental and spiritual, that God may place His healing Hands on them and they may know His peace and special touch. We pray for Ineke van Gent, Ava De Zeeuw, Syd & Rita Green, Arie Janssen, Agnes Buddeke, Jim Schokker, Jolly Dykstra, Wilma Rond and Olga Whorley, who is still at Gosford Hospital. Continue to pray for Jim Hopwood as he recovers from his 2 nd knee surgery. We pray for Barry Bradfield who underwent spinal surgery at RNS Hospital this past week and pray for a speedy recovery. Pray for Nel Vos, Mien Swaab and Rita Scribante in Aged care and for the nursing Staff who take care of them. Pray for parents who have children with special needs, that God may grant them wisdom, strength and patience. We continue to pray for the various ministries in our Church: The Session; COM; Sunday School; Catechism; the Wambie Youth Club; Ladies Fellowship; craft group; Bible Study Groups; Solomon s mission; Scripture teaching; the Green Team and the Music team. Let us continue to pray for boldness for our members to witness for Christ and grow our church for the Glory of God. We pray that God may grant us His joy, peace and strength as we continue to serve Him. God bless and keep you in His loving care. Have a blessed week sustained and directed by the Lord Jesus Christ. Nobin

Garage Sale Saturday - 21 Nov 8 am to 1 pm Helpers urgently needed!! We need volunteers to help set up from 9 am on Friday morning. If you can spare an hour on Saturday morning to man a stall - that would also be a great help. More urgent is the need for helpers for the job of packing up on Saturday afternoon from 12.45pm. Please don t leave it all to the same few! If you can help with any of these jobs, please, put your name on the sheet in the foyer. Many hands make light work!!

What I learned from Noah s Ark.. One: Don t miss the boat. Two: Remember that we are all in the same boat. Three: Plan ahead. It wasn t raining when Noah built the Ark. Four: Stay fit. When you re 600 years old, Someone may ask you to do something really big. Five: Don t listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done. Six: Build your future on high ground. Seven: For safety s sake, travel in pairs. Eight: Speed isn t always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs. Nine: When you re stressed, float a while. Ten: Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals. Eleven: No matter the storm, when you are with God, there s always a rainbow waiting. This week to... Jim Schokker - Sunday 15 November Fred Dykstra - Thursday 19 November Attention Sunday School Kids! Give a gift to a Korku kid. Worship... To worship is to quicken the conscience by the holiness of God, to feed the mind with the truth of God, to purge the imagination by the beauty of God, to open the heart to the love of God, to devote the will to the purpose of God.
