What a joy it is to be in the presence of the Lord on this Lord s Day and experience warm Christian fellowship with our members and all visitors who are with us today. Today is our Youth Service and we want to thank all the Youth who are participating in the service. May the Lord use them in a special way to bring Glory to God! We come, this morning with great expectations and pray that the Lord our God will graciously minister to our hearts and lives through His Word and Spirit. Today, we welcome Stan and Ann vander Kroef into the membership of our Church family. We welcome you both warmly and pray that you will have many fruitful and wonderful years with us. As part of our Reading Program, the next book to be read is the Book of Numbers which will be discussed on 22 November. Prayer Points... Let us remember those who need our prayers and may the Lord make us faithful in praying for one another. Pray for Nel Vos, Mien Swaab and Rita Scribante in Aged care and for the nursing Staff who take care of them. Pray for parents who have children with special needs, that God may grant them wisdom, strength and patience. We continue to pray for the various ministries in our Church: The Session; COM; Sunday School; Catechism; the Wambie Youth Club; Ladies Fellowship; craft group; Bible Study Groups; Solomon s mission; Scripture teaching; the Green Team and the Music team. Let us continue to pray for boldness for our members to witness for Christ and grow our church for the Glory of God. When you re 600 years old, Someone may ask you to do something really big. Five: Don t listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done. Six: Build your future on high ground. Seven: For safety s sake, travel in pairs. Eight: Speed isn t always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs. Nine: When you re stressed, float a while.
