Partners in Charity We did it.we reached our goal and surpassed it! Our Lady of Lourdes has received $49,585 towards our goal of $47,500. If you have not yet completed your pledge, you may still do so. Fill out the pledge and return it to the church office or in the collection basket. You can also visit www.partners-charity.net to do it online. We are so very thankful for such a generous parish!! Sunday Offertory 5/5-5/6 $3,452.00 Ascension 30.00 Maintenance 747.00 Thank you as always for your generous support! Happy Mother s Day to all Mothers!! Continuing the Easter Beauty Many have commented on how beautiful the sanctuary looked this Easter. Easter is a season of 50 days and it always sad to see the flowers not last throughout the season. Could you help the parish keep the Easter Season radiant by donating a plant to maintain the beauty of the sanctuary? Do you have a favorite plant that would add beauty to the altar? Or maybe you would like to donate a plant that we can later plant and adorn the grounds outside. Our parish clean-up is coming up and we would love to add some color and beauty to the outside as well. If you can, please call or email the parish and let us know which one you would like to donate at 508-757-0789. or ladyoflourdes1290@gmail.com. Thank you. Try Online Giving and Help Your Parish

SEVENTH SUNDAY OF EASTER CYCLE B GATHERING HYMN Sing A New Church GLORIA Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of good will. We praise you, we bless you, we adore you, we glorify you, we give you thanks for your great glory, Lord, God, Heavenly King, O God, almighty Father. Lord, Jesus Christ, Only Begotten Son, Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father, You take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us: You take away the sins of the world, receive our prayer, You are seated at the right hand of the Father, have mercy on us. For you alone are the Holy One; You alone are the Lord. You alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, With the Holy Spirit, In the glory of God, the Father. Amen

LITURGY OF THE WORD FIRST READING ACTS 1:15-17, 20A, 20C-26 Peter stood up in the midst of the brothers there was a group of about one hundred and twenty persons in the one place.he said, My brothers, the Scripture had to be fulfilled which the Holy Spirit spoke beforehand through the mouth of David, concerning Judas, who was the guide for those who arrested Jesus. He was numbered among us and was allotted a share in this ministry. For it is written in the Book of Psalms: May another take his office. Therefore, it is necessary that one of the men who accompanied us the whole time the Lord Jesus came and went among us, beginning from the baptism of John until the day on which he was taken up from us, become with us a witness to his resurrection. So they proposed two, Judas called Barsabbas, who was also known as Justus, and Matthias. Then they prayed, You, Lord, who know the hearts of all, show which one of these two you have chosen to take the place in this apostolic ministry from which Judas turned away to go to his own place. Then they gave lots to them, and the lot fell upon Matthias, and he was counted with the eleven apostles. RESPONSORIAL PSALM PSALM 103 SECOND READING 1 JN 4:11-16 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also must love one another. No one has ever seen God. Yet, if we love one another, God remains in us, and his love is brought to perfection in us. This is how we know that we remain in him and he in us, that he has given us of his Spirit. Moreover, we have seen and testify that the Father sent his Son as savior of the world. Whoever acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him and he in God. We have come to know and to believe in the love God has for us. God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in him. GOSPEL ACCLAMATION GOSPEL JN 17:11B-19 Lifting up his eyes to heaven, Jesus prayed saying: Holy Father, keep them in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one just as we are one. When I was with them I protected them in your name that you gave me, and I guarded them, and none of them was lost except the son of destruction, in order that the Scripture might be fulfilled. But now I am coming to you. I speak this in the world so that they may share my joy completely. I gave them your word, and the world hated them, because they do not belong to the world any more than I belong to the world. I do not ask that you take them out of the world but that you keep them from the evil one. They do not belong to the world any more than I belong to the world. Consecrate them in the truth. Your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, so I sent them into the world. And I consecrate myself for them, so that they also may be consecrated in truth.

HOMILY NICENE CREED I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible. I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. I believe in one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen.
