CHANDI SAPTASHATI HOMA INCLUDING ATIRUDRAM SPONSORSHIPS General Info: Well-versed chanters of the Sri Rudram and/or Sri Chandi Saptashati are invited to participate as Ritwiks at this very powerful and auspicious event. Ritwiks will chant the required number of recitations and perform the required number of homas for Chandi Saptashati and Atirudram. There is no charge involved for participating as a Ritwik. Ritwiks are however welcome to sponsor the homas and pujas so as to have their sankalpa read and to take home highly energized prasada murtis from the event. Non-ritwiks who sponsor will be able to participate in homas, even if they do not know to chant; their sankalpa will be read and they will receive energized prasadams. Wearing 2019 new Diksha Vastrams is mandatory for those performing homas and is highly recommended for all who are only attending the program but not participating. Diksha vastrams imbibe the energies of the homas and pujas and can be worn again without washing. 2 diksha vastrams will be provided for a Rudram Ritwik. Chandi Ritwiks who are not also Rudram Ritwiks will receive 1 diksha vastram each. Participation in homas as a Ritwik or as a sponsor non-ritwik, requires application and pre-approval.
