WELCOME TO THE GALILEANS! It is great to have you as a part of the Galilean program. Get ready to work hard, but at the same time get ready to have a lot of fun. In the coming years as you progress through the areas of advancement of the Galilean program, you are going to have the opportunity to become a better follower of Christ and a better leader of others. This project will require some effort on your part, but anything of real value in life requires some work. Even now as you begin the program, set before yourself the goal of reaching the highest area of advancement that of becoming an Ambassador. I am glad to be able to help you in your journey through this program by preparing this workbook for you. As you work for the next several years, you will be asked to memorize some materials and some scriptures. You will also be asked to read certain books and stories. HOW THE GALILEAN PROGRAM WORKS Since you are now old enough to become a Galilean, you have a wonderful opportunity for growth in your spiritual life. But to grow spiritually there are certain things that are needed just as there are certain things needed to grow physically. We all know that if we are to grow physically we must have food, water, exercise, etc. If we are to grow spiritually we must have Bible study (spiritual food), prayer, personal service, and witnessing. The Galilean program is set up to provide you with the study and service that can bring about spiritual growth. of requirements, you will be a TYRO. As you meet other requirements, you will become a FEL- LOW, a FOLLOWER, a DISCIPLE, a HERALD AMBASSADOR. After completing the requirements to become an AMBASSADOR you will be eligible to become a STEWARD. In each area of advancement you will be required to do some work in such areas as: the church, Bible study, missions, Christian witness, and personal service. Practice work will be given to familiarize you with the material that will need to be learned to meet the requirements of each area of advancement.

BIBLE STUDY Isaiah 53:6 John 3:16-18 John 3:36 MY NEED OF THE GOSPEL Read Isaiah 53:6; John 3:16-18; and John 3:36. Begin memorizing these verses and answer the questions below. 1. In Isaiah 53:6 we can see the reason that all people need the gospel. It is because all we like sheep ; we have turned everyone. 2. God created a man and woman that they might experience peace, life, and fellowship with Him; but something happened to disturb that peace, break that fellowship, and bring spiritual death instead of life.
