Our meeting was held on January 20, 2016 at the Norman Feldhym Library in downtown San Bernardino. Everyone was very pleased with the topics he addressed to our Section and we also provided Calendars and Lanyards to members in attendance. January Section Meeting-Continued Special thanks to Gerald James for filling in for Mark Sheahan at our January Section Meeting. He captivated our Members discussing the following topics: -Proposed PY s in the January Governor s budget -Proposal to increase the Contracting Out to 20% from the current 10% -Discussion of the increase in PECG dues this July After this, he answered questions from the audience and then on a case by case basis. The IE PECG Section and several members donated numerous items to the food drive. The food drive distribution was held on January 7, 2012 and was very successful and appreciated. When we Angela met with Fleming, Assembly the Food Member Ministry Steinorth Director and on Legislative her husband day, the first Bill Fleming gave us a big thanks for our generosity. The IE topic he raised was who we thought had the best pizza in Redlands. Section was very pleased to accomplish this deed. After some spirited discussion amongst us, he revealed that he owned Jerseys Pizza in downtown Redlands and that his was the best. We thought that we should give it a try to test his opinion, so on Tuesday the 16 th, we piled into our cars and had lunch at Jerseys Pizza. After a few pizza s, we can now say that it lived up to Voted one of the best made pies in town. Newsletter Title Page 3
