News about All Saints Some of you may have noticed that the stained glass window above the kitchen in All Saints has been boarded up. Unfortunately we had a break in over the bank holiday. My thanks to Sue Reader who alerted us and to Robert, Linda and Neil who spent their bank holiday with forensics, window fixers and locksmiths. Thankfully only the flower fund money was taken. If you would like to donate to the flower fund or towards the 250 insurance excess there is a bowl at the back of church. Revd Becky SOUP AND SWEETS LUNCH. Thank you to all who supported this event and those who cooked and served. 325 was raised for the work of the Mothers Union overseas. Two rings have been found in St.George s safe. Do they belong to you or do you know anything about them? If so please talk with either Charles Woodd or Helen Evans. First Sunday after Trinity Sunday 3 rd June 2018 WELCOME! A special welcome if you are visiting, or a newcomer. Please do speak to a sides-person or one of the clergy after the service so we can greet you more personally! If you would prefer a prayer of blessing, please bring a book with you. If you would like to receive communion in your pew please let a sides-person know before we begin. Should you wish to support the church financially there are gift aid envelopes, or alternatively you may prefer to give to the collection during the offertory hymn. The money goes towards the work of the Parish. 5% of this collection will support other Christian charities. COLLECTS: God of truth, help us to keep your law of love and to walk in ways of wisdom, that we may find true life in Jesus Christ your Son. AMEN. O God, the strength of all those who put their trust in you, mercifully accept our prayers and, because through the weakness of our mortal nature we can do no good thing without you, grant us the help of your grace, that in the keeping of your commandments we may please you both in will and deed; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. AMEN.

Church Fete - Saturday 16 th June 2018-2.00-5.00pm The fete is a great way for us to engage with the local community and raise funds for the church too. We have a group of parishioners who will be running a book stall for the fete, they have some books but would like more to give variety. If you have any books you wish to donate please bring them to church next Sunday or leave with Linda Baker at the Parish Office. NEXT SUNDAY Bottle Sunday We are also planning to run the usual bottle stall at the Fete and are looking for bottles of wine, spirits, soft drinks etc, to use on the stall. Please bring any donations to church next Sunday or feel free to bring them to the Parish office on Friday 8 th June. Thank you. Donations of raffle prizes, scones, cakes, plants, books and bottles can also be bought to the Parish Office on Friday 15 th June, or between 10 and 11am on Saturday 16 th June.
