Phyllis M. Taylor Our project for Christmas this year will be to help homeless women and children at Hotel Hope operated by the Presentation Sisters, founders of SCR School and located in the Broadmoor area. The Sisters provide short term lodging and management to get them on their feet. They secure an apartment for them and help them to get ready for their move. So these families need everything. The Sisters wish list of supplies can be anything for the home and personal supplies such as paper goods, nonperishable food, dishes, towels, soap, shampoo and $25 Wal-Mart gift cards, anything you could think of to help these families transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency. Anything would be appreciated. Our drive will be from Nov. 19 to Dec. 4. All items can be left in church or the Parish Center. The Sisters ask that nothing be wrapped. We thank you in advance for your generosity.

In memory of (PLEASE PRINT) DEADLINE DEC. 15 FIRST SATURDAY DEVOTIONS December 2 Our Lady of Fatima asked that the faithful dedicate the first Saturdays of five consecutive months in reparation for sin by going to confession, receiving Holy Communion, praying five decades of the Holy Rosary, and meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary for at least 15 minutes. This has become known as the First Saturday Devotions. We will celebrate these devotions on the first Saturday of each month by offering our regularly scheduled morning Rosary and Mass in atonement for sin and for the conversion of the United States. PRAY FOR VOCATIONS The best way of supporting our New Orleans Seminarians is by praying for them. Please pray this week for: PAOLO TAFFARO

Praise God from whom all blessings flow! Most certainly, our family has been blessed in so many ways through the experience of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. The prayers and goodwill of our brothers and sisters in Christ, her in SCR, have maintained us and strengthened us in so many ways. We are very thankful to God, in the first place, and to all of you for your spiritual, emotional and material support throughout this ordeal. You are a faith community which has been blessed, by suffering, to grow in generosity, patience and love. We ask these same blessings for our people in Puerto Rico. God bless all of you during this Christmas season and throughout 2018. You will always be in our prayers.
