NEW WEDNESDAY NIGHT PROGRAM March 22-April 19: "The Wild Goose" Celtic Christians talked about the Holy Spirit as a loud, passionate, untamed, sometimes frightening, and certainly uncontrollable wild goose. The Holy Spirit they had encountered was always on the move, always doing unexpected things. The Holy Spirit was much more like a wild goose than a dove. A dove was simply too tame and too tranquil an image. Dr. April Love-Fordham will be teaching the classes in the front half of Jeffords Hall at 6:30 pm on the Wild Goose, sending you home each week with a spiritual discipline to try at home.
