Mass times for churches near your location can be found by visiting: www.masstimes.org Message from the Our Lady of Mount Carmel St. Vincent de Paul Society The monthly loose change will not be taken up during the summer months of July and August this year. Many parishioners may be taking vacations or have family events which may cause them to be away. However, you can still put any offerings in the poor boxes located near the entrances to the Church. The collection will resume on the first weekend of September, specifically Saturday Sept. 2 nd & Sunday, Sept. 3 rd. Because of your continued kindness and generosity, we have been able to provide help for requests covering utility bills (eg. oil, gas, electric, water, sewer), medical needs, food, clothing (eg. winter coats/clothing), emergency home repair costs, and other family needs. All monetary assistance is paid directly by check to the utility or provider and reports are filed with the Parish or Diocese as required. Members usually meet with those individuals who request help to learn as much as possible about the circumstances and to offer assistance in planning for the future. All recipients are told that whatever help they get is made possible through the generosity of our parishioners. They are asked to keep all of you in their prayers. So, we say Thank You and may God Bless you all for your support and help given to those in need. Sisters of Sts.
