Editor s Note We are sorry for the delay in issuing the May edition of The HOPE Bulletin, which is carrying a special report about the Centenary Convention of the Arrival of Hazrat Khwaja Kamal-ud-Din in the UK in 1913. The transcription of certain speeches and commentary about film newsreels shown at the special session of the Convention held on 4 th May, 2013 in Woking is time-consuming. Hopefully, the first instalment of the report will be issued in a week s time. In this Supplement we are conveying to you the sad news and condolences about our brothers and sisters who have passed way. Mr Shakoer Hoeseni, The Hague, Holland We are extremely sad to convey the news about the demise of our esteemed Brother Shakoer Hoeseni, a prominent and extremely devoted Ahmadi of the Holland Jama at and one of the founders of the Stichting Ahmadiyya Anjuman, The Hague. He returned to his Maker in the early hours of 26th May, 2013. His Janaza prayers will be offered on Wednesday 29 May at 3.00 pm at the Westduin Graveyard, The Hague, Holland. He was the father of our devout brother, Mr Shabbir Hoeseni, President of the Stichting Ahmadiyya Anjuman and translator and reviser of several of the important publications of the Anjuman into Dutch and German. The late Brother S. Hoeseni was the husband of the youngest daughter of the late Hazrat Maulana Ahmad Ali Sahib of Suriname. We extend our heartfelt condolences and deep sympathies to our beloved sister, Bhabi Halima, her sons, daughters, sons-in-laws, and grandchildren. Details about the life and work of our late Brother S. Hoeseni and his venerable and able life-partner, Bhabi Halima, will, Inshallah, be published in the next issue. He was a stalwart of the Lahore Ahmadiyya Anjuman in Holland and was one the founding members who laid great sacrifices for the Jama at. He was a dedicated and devoted member serving the Jama at and the cause of Islam. It is a great loss for our Jama at in Holland and especially to the Stichting Ahmadiyya Anjuman. He led a very pious and humble life. We pray that may Allah bless his soul and grant him an elevated abode in Jannatul Firdaus. She was the sister of Aunty Riffat Saadat Sahiba (wife of the Financial Secretary of the Central Anjuman, Ch. Saadat Ahmad Sahib, and the Vice-President of the Ahmadiyya Women s Organization of the Central Anjuman, Lahore). Mrs Zeenat Khan led a very pious and humble life. We pray that Allah may bless the deceased in the life hereafter and grant patience to her family members to bear this loss with perseverance. Mrs Fehmida Sharif, Karachi, Pakistan Announcement by Amir Aziz, General Secretary, AAIIL It is with sorry that we announce the sad demise of the widow of the late Sheikh Sharif Ahmad Sahib of Karachi, who passed away on 17 May, 2013. Surely we are for Allah and to Him we return. She was the mother of our very dear brother, Sheikh Anjum Shareef Sahib, Secretary of the Karachi Jama at. Her two daughters, Shirin Sharif and Qaiser Sharif, are devoted and active among the ladies of the Jama at. Mrs Fehmida Sharif was a very dedicated and devoted member of the Jama at. She led a very pious and humble life. She was a moving soul among the members of the Karachi Jama at. We pray that Allah may bless her soul in the heaven of eternity and grant patience to the family members to bear this maternal loss with patience and perseverance. Hazrat Ameer s condolences, the Mosque, Berlin, Germany I am grieved to hear the news of the death of Begum Sheikh Sharif Sahiba. I will remember her as a loving person with motherly affection for me. I never missed a visit to her place to see her when I went to Karachi and she never failed to show her generosity in offering contribution to the Anjuman through me. Both she and the late Shaikh Sharif Ahmad Sahib always contributed when Janji [the late Dr Saeed Ahmad Khan Sahib] visited them and wanted to continue the same tradition with me. Please convey my message of sympathy and prayer to Anjum Bhai and Sisters Sheerin and Qaisar; and also brother Aamir. Also my salaam to Shahida Bhabi who, along with Begum Sahiba s caring daughters, looked after her mother-in-law with love and affection while she was confined to bed. My love to baby Hiba, who really loved her grandmother. May Allah grant a high and peaceful abode to Begum Sahiba in the hereafter and give patience to all she left behind, including the members of the Jama at who were close to her whom she always welcomed them warmly and treated as her own family. Mrs Chaudhary Muhammad Hayat, Chak 81, Sargodha, Pakistan We sorrowfully announce the demise of the widow of (the late) Ch. Muhammad Hayat Sahib at Chak. 81, Sargodha, who passed away yesterday. Surely we are for Allah and to him we shall return. She was a dedicated and noble lady. She led a very pious and humble life. She spent most of her life in Darus Salam Colony where her late husband was a sincere and hardworking caretaker looking after the estate of Darus Salaam from its very start till its completion, and was loved by everyone. We pray that Allah may bless her soul and grant patience to her family members. Her son, Mr Ayaz Hayat, is an employee of the Central Anjuman, Lahore. He will miss her affection and warmth. Mr Amir Aziz, General Secretary of the Central Anjuman, went from Lahore and led the Janaza prayer and conducted the funeral service. Mrs Naveeda Naghman, Sialkot, Pakistan It is with deep sorrow that we received the news of the demise of Mrs Naveeda Naghman, daughter of the late Sheikh Ghulam Ahmad of Wazirabad. She was in a coma for a long time. We express our condolences and deep sorrow to her brothers, Major Nasir Ahmad, Mr Qaiser Sheikh, and Nauman Sheikh. Mr Shahid Mumtaz, Delhi, India Condolence message from Shaukat Ali, Australia We are shocked and deeply distressed to learn that your beloved eleven-year-old son, Shahid, has left this world, as a result of a motorcycle accident, to meet with our Maker. Inna lillahe wa Inna Ilaihi rajioon. We know it is an extremely difficult time for you, your wife and other loved ones. We are also aware how close you all were to him and wish to share your grief. Our prayers are with you. I had personally known Shahid since his birth and I know that he was regular in his five daily prayers. He was a very good student and we all thought he had a very bright future. However, our Creator had other plans and His plans are what matters. We pray that the Compassion and Mercy of Allah may shower on the soul of the departed soul and may his abode be in the highest pedestal in Jannat-ul Firdous. Ameen. Passing away of Mr Muhammad Jamal Buksh, Nausori, Fiji We announce with extreme sadness the death of a very sincere member of the Jama at, Mr Muhammad Jamal Buksh, the second son of the late Master Rasul Buksh of Nausori. Brother Jamal passed away on Wednesday 8 May 2013 at around 8 am. His funeral was held at Nausori, Fiji, on the same day.
