FAR EAST BROADCASTING COMPANY Reaching the World through Radio Ministry Far East Broadcasting Company is a company based out of La Mirada, CA that uses radio technology to reach the masses in countries that may not have access to the gospel. They started over 70 years ago preaching the gospel in China via the radio. FEBC s programs are heard on AM and FM stations worldwide, as well as by satellite and the Internet. They also broadcast by shortwave through transmitter sites in the Philippines, sharing Christ in hard-to-reach minority groups. The total number of languages is now 107 worldwide, with broadcasting hours totaling 842 a day. Three billion people live within range of their transmitters. But the only figure they are truly interested in is the number of people whose lives have been changed by Christ. Last year, they received 2.6 million listener responses, many attesting to transformed lives. That s why FEBC was launched and that s why they continue. To share Christ with the world. UNTIL ALL HAVE HEARD. Recently FEBC started a capital campaign to, get this, reach the people in North Korea. That s right, North Korea. They have been gifted land just outside the border of North Korea, on the South Korean side. They plan to build a radio station so powerful that it will be able to spread over the entire country of North Korea. Kim Jong Un, the North Korean dictator, has outlawed the Bible, Christians, and even Christmas in North Korea. This is why the need is so great. FEBC will not rest until ALL the nations have heard the good news of Jesus. They have believers and volunteers lining up to help break ground in making this dream a reality. They even have a group of North Korean defectors that are ready to help. This new station will reach countless North Koreans with the Gospel, in their own language and culture. Pray for FEBC as they raise money and prayer warriors to affect the nation of North Korea. Pray that God will soften the heart of the North Korean leader, and that the Gospel will be preached boldly to those in North Korea. Pray that God will transform the nation of North Korea.
