The days are getting shorter. Football games have once again overtaken the TV Guide. Local schools are lit up on Friday night as football teams, bands and cheer squads work extra hard. The mornings have a bit of a chill in the air. With the end of summer vacations and the start of school our choir loft, worship center and connection group rooms are filling up. We are well underway, making preparations for the 2015 Christmas Program! Please keep the following dates on your calendar: Sunday, September 27 (THIS WEEK): Observance of the Lord s Supper in morning worship. Wednesdays during October: Extended choir rehearsal times (7:00 8:45 PM). Saturday, October 31: EFBC s annual Trunk or Treat. (Please sign up to help with parking.) Wednesdays during November: Extended choir rehearsal times (7:00 9:00 PM). Sunday, November 22: Thank You Jesus Banquet and Lord s Supper. December 2: Full Christmas Rehearsal (choir/orchestra/drama/crew): 7:00 9:00 PM. December 8,9: Full Christmas DRESS Rehearsal: 7:00 9:00. December 10 @ 6:30: The Journey Presentation for the homeless. December 11 @ 6:30: The Journey Presentation for the community. December 13 @ 2:00 & 6:30: The Journey Presentations for the community. Continue to pray for her. Praise the Lord! Johnny Siler doing well after cataract surgery. Jack Spears (Church member) Diagnosed with cancer. Surgery 9/21/15 Wayne Pettit Open heart surgery to repair mitral valve 9/22/15 at Heart Hospital. Gwenny (9 year old granddaughter of Paige s friend) Father was killed in prison riot. Family of Don Patton Floyd and Minnie Sossamon s son-in-law. Rebekah, daughter of Eugene and Marianna) Needs babysitter willing to keep 1 year old in their own home. Sam (David McCallie s neighbor) Having difficulty with his son. Cheryl Tredway Dealing with vertigo. Cheryl Tredway s step dad Lost his job. Kim Hanks (New choir member) Fell at work and injured her knee. Improving. Pray for complete recovery. Paige Perry s mother-in-law Having extensive testing for possible dementia/alzheimer s. Pray for the miracle of a healthy baby. Frances Shockey (Nita Daignault s mother) Has moved to assisted living in McAlester. Pray she will make friends and not be lonely. Julie Webb Being referred to a rheumatologist for further testing, seeking a diagnosis. Marianna Fielder s dad Fell and broke his hip. Eleanor Slate (Minnie s 11 yr. old great niece) diagnosed with Leukemia. Rodney Green (Joyce Stone s son) broken neck. Will have surgery soon. Margaret Whitaker s son. Recovering at home after second surgery due to infection after the first one. Joey Clarkson (25 year old son of FBC Moore s pastor) has stage 3 olfactory neuroblastoma. Pray for peace, comfort and healing._ Ernie Satterfield (Amy Montgomery s mom) having health issues. Hugh Walker (Dad of David s friend) In his last days. Pray for peace and comfort. Allan Piatt s brother-in-law in Texas Nearing the end of his life. Sherry Barnett, Margaret Whitaker s daughter, taking dialysis, lives in AZ Wayne and Alice Pettit s youngest son Health problems. Jonatan Miles Needs prayer for his family. Anthony (David s co-worker) Son has autism. Pat Murphy Has finished radiation. Continue to pray for her.
