We will have Sean O'Connor performing on his guitar as entertainment. Sean is a wonderful guitarist and I am sure you will enjoy his music. We will have the Woodworkers selling a wide variety of woodcrafts. Remember it will only be two months till Christmas so start your shopping at our woodcrafts sale. GROUP ACTIVITIES DAN FRANKE 944-7676 On Wednesday, October 21st we have an outing planned for a movie and meal/drinks at Studio Movie Grill. The theater is located at 5140 Commons Dr. in Rocklin. I have not been there but was told that you order your food and drinks inside the theater and are served at your movie seat. There is some confusion about the price but it is reasonable. The movies are posted every Tuesday evening for the upcoming Friday thru Thursday. This is a long way around for me to tell you that I won't know what movies will be playing on Oct. 21st until Oct. 13th. When I know, I will send out an E-mail on what movie we are seeing and the time. So if you are planning to join us...and I hope you are...watch for the E-mail on or around Oct. 14th with all the details. And don't forget that the next day is our special Ladies Day luncheon. It is sure to be a lot of fun. WOOD WORK CHAIRMAN DON LANGLEY 944-4219 The Woodworkers met at my shop on Friday 9/18/15, a week earlier this month because of vacations. My wife Ann made chocolate chip cookies for our snack. We had the usual show and tell and planning for the Ladies Day auction of our wood crafts. After our meeting several of the members stayed and worked on their projects. All went well and everyone enjoyed the day. Next month we will meet the day before the Ladies Day lunch, on Wednesday, October 21st so we can gather all our items and plan how to price and display them. We will also have our regular meeting on Friday October 23, the day after the luncheon. Both meetings will be at my shop in Carmichael at 6341 Grant Avenue at 10:00 am. All our welcome to attend. SUNSHINE REPORT --BOB JACKSON 988-5979 I called Merle Dodd to see how he was doing, no answer. If anyone knows about him or how to get a hold of him, let me know. Checked up on Andy Effinger & he is doing fine after the loss of his son. He just had another appointment that he couldn t miss. Checked on Joe Freitas because he never misses our meeting & he just had a senior moment, like I do many times a week. Howard Mann s wife had gallbladder surgery on Thursday & is home recovering.
