Evening arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, near Tel Aviv. Meet, and be assisted by our local representative responsible for your tour of Israel. Your guide and driver will take you to Jerusalem. Before checking in to our hotel, we will stop at the Mt. Scopus promenade overlooking modern and old Jerusalem to thank the Lord for a safe arrival.
דוא"ל: Day 3 Tuesday, October 10, 2017 Sukkot in Jerusalem After breakfast, We head to the Haas Promenade where we will participate in the Cry For Zion celebration with Pastor Lars Enarson. We continue to the Bible Lands museum for a festive worship event held by Rabbi Riskin for Jews and Christians. Next we visit Genesis Land where we will enjoy a biblical feast and a camel ride. We finish the day by marching in the streets of Jerusalem in show of support (Jerusalem March). Dinner at the Sukka with Pastor Lars. Day 4 Wednesday, October 11, 2017 Judea We begin our day at the Yad Vashem holocaust memorial. After visiting the museum and the Children's memorial, We Depart Jerusalem for Hebron, city of the Patriarchs and first capital of King David. Tour the ancient Jewish neighborhoods and the Machpela cave (Tomb of the Patriarchs). We head back to Jerusalem stopping on the way to meet Rabbi Jeremy Gimpel who will share his vision of a Torah center for nations. We return to the hotel to celebrate Simchat Torah eve. Day 5 Thursday, October 12, 2017 Dead Sea After breakfast, We start our day with a tour of Masada. Ascent by cable car for an extensive tour of the site, which was the scene of the last Jewish resistance against the Romans in the year 73 AD. Next we visit the Ein Gedi springs where King David hid from King Saul. You will then have plenty of time at the shores of the Dead Sea and have an opportunity for a bath in mineral rich waters.
דוא"ל: Day 6 Friday, October 13, 2017 Old City of Jerusalem Today, we start our pilgrimage in Jerusalem with a visit the Kidron valley monuments from the 2 nd temple period followed by a visit to the City of David. We enter the Davidson center through the newly discovered tunnel. After visiting the Western Wall tunnels, we will have some time to pray at the Kotel before heading north to the Galilee. After checking in, we will enjoy a festive Shabbat dinner with Avi Lipkin. Overnight at Galilee hotel Day 7 Shabbat, October 14, 2017 Golan Heights After breakfast, we drive up to the Golan Heights for a special wet Kayaking experience at the Hatsbani River, one of the sources of the Jordan River. Next we visit Mt. Bental, a lookout point where we can see the "Road to Damascus". We set sail on a boat to Capernaum singing and worshiping. Capernaum was in Yeshua's time a flourishing border town and was called "his own city" because of the frequency with which Yeshua visited it and the mighty works he did there. We end this day with a visit to the Yardenit baptism site. Overnight at Galilee hotel Day 8 Sunday, October 15, 2017 Lower Galilee After breakfast, we head to Mt. Carmel to visit the "Place of Sacrifice" where the Prophet Elijah had an encounter with the Priests of Baal (1 Kings 18:17-40). Then on to Megiddo, where the Messiah will return to earth and defeat the Antichrist (the "beast") in the battle of Armageddon. We drive to Kedem village in the hill country of the Galilee where Yeshua grew to manhood (Matth. 2:23). Here we will enjoy a donkey ride. We head to our hotel in Samaria. After dinner, we will visit the Biblical Garden followed by a presentation of Aaron Lipkin about Joshua's Altar.
דוא"ל: Day 9 Monday, October 16, 2017 Samaria We head to Shavey Shomron community to prepare for the ascent to Mt. Ebal. Our bus will take us to the peak of the mountain. From here, we will see Mt. Gerizim (Mountain of Blessing) and the city of Nablus. We will continue to the northern slops of the mountain and walk by foot to the site of Joshua's Altar, the site of the ceremony described in the book of Joshua 8:30-35. We continue to our next stop - Mt. Kabir, a marvelous lookout from which we will see Mt. Gerizim and Ebal (Mountains of Blessing and Curse), the city of Shechem (Nablus) and the Tirzah valley. Next, we visit Hayovel camp on Mt. Gerizim and eat dinner with the volunteers (Christian volunteers that are serving Israel as mentioned in Isiah 61:5). Day 10 Tuesday, October 17, 2017 Benjamin (Optional activity: Wake up early and harvest grapes with Hayovel. Fulfill biblical prophecy!) After breakfast, we start with a visit to Bethel, the site of Jacob's Dream of The Ladder for a special tour and bible teaching with Aaron Lipkin. We continue to ancient Shiloh, the site of the Tabernacle for almost 400 years. Our next stop is the community of Ofra where we will meet Yehuda Etzion, one of the main pioneers of the Jewish settlement movement, who will talk to us about his vision of future Jerusalem and the Temple. We end this day at the Jordan Valley. We will visit the Argaman Footprint structure from the Israelite period that was found by Professor Adam Zertal who identified it as biblical Gilgal.
דוא"ל: Day 11 Wednesday, October 18, 2017 Tel Aviv Today is our last day in Israel. After breakfast and checkout, we head to the ruins of Caesarea Maritima, which was the seat of government of the Roman Governor, Pontius Pilate. Tel Aviv is our next destination. We will first visit the Palmach museum and learn about the early days of the State of Israel and the struggle against the British Mandate. We continue to the Independence Hall museum where the State of Israel was proclaimed. We finish the day with some shopping time at ancient Jaffa's Flea market. Before we head to the airport, we will have a Farwell dinner at a restaurant. we take our leave from Tel Aviv and check in for our homebound flight at Ben Gurion Airport, rejoicing and putting our trust in the Lord, remembering the words of the Psalmist in Psalm 125:1: "Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever". Depart Israel at 11:10 PM on board United flight UA91 to Newark airport arriving next day at 04:20 AM. Day 12 Thursday, October 19, 2017 Arrival in Tampa Depart Newark airport at 06:30 AM onboard flight # UA 158 to Tampa. Arrival time: 09:15 AM Hayovel volunteer extension available.
