After a few months of trying to decide where and if we were going to go to church, we chose at random to go to Victory Church for the 11am service. I was at a cross roads in life with three daughters and a wife living in a small apartment. A business failure a year prior and having to make a career change had left me full of anxiety. I had grown far away from being a Christian and spent many years far from Christ. When we went that Sunday I was moved, and we made a decision to keep going and will never look back. Pastor Matt Ware and all the other leaders have a great message that speaks directly to being a follower of Christ and the ways to find victory in your life through the word of the Bible. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them. Matthew 18:20 I now have conquered much of my anxiety and depression. My career has sky rocketed, and in December we moved from the little apartment and bought a beautiful home in Thornton. Though the challenges of life will never cease and raising three daughters will be a challenge, I know with God in our lives we will not only survive but thrive. I have nothing but love for Victory Church and plan to keep attending and encouraging anyone looking to be pointed in the right direction toward Christ to attend. JADON TUNIS

My husband Daniel and I have being coming to Victory for about 9 years now. I can t thank God enough for placing us in such a wonderful church surrounded by so many loving people. We started volunteering in the children s ministry about 5 years ago. Connecting at Victory helped me have a support system during my hardest times - surrounded by Godly people who helped me and my family deal with one of the hardest things we have ever dealt with. I don t know what I would ve done without God and my Victory family. I am so glad we decided to connect and grow by volunteering and signing up for the Spiritual Warfare class. Not only do we learn the Word of God at Victory but we become part of the body of Christ, and I see why God made the church that way because we do need each other and I m so thankful for all the support we have received from our church. This was my family s first Christmas at Victory since we moved to Broomfield and I wanted to thank you for the special Christmas Eve service and let you know how much it meant to us. My son had never been in the service with us because he usually goes to the children s classes at church, but he was with us for the sermon on Christmas Eve because he was singing in the children s choir. I brought some coloring books for him because he is five years old and speaks mostly Spanish so I thought the preaching would be over his head. When Pastor Matt prayed, however, he repeated every word and got teary-eyed. When we got into the car after the service, my son was so excited and kept saying, I got it Mom. I got it! God gave me unspeakable joy. I felt something I have never felt before. I felt happy but it was more than happy - I can t explain it. My husband started working nights in November and my son would cry himself to sleep every night because he missed his dad. When his father went back to work after the holidays, my son was completely different. He told me, I still miss my dad but I know everything is going to be alright. I don t have to cry now because God is with me and I have unspeakable joy. When people ask my son what his favorite Christmas present was he says, all of my toys can break or get lost but I will always have what God gave me this Christmas: UNSPEAKABLE JOY!. TERA GIRON
