The Dying and Death of Our Friends and Family Part I Objective: Part I: 1) Going to talk about friends/family that are / will be either going through the dying process or have just died. 2) The difficulty, (IF there is even any possibility), of having a sincere and honest discussion with them about death and dying. 3) 3) We will consider our own frustration and disappointment when we are turned away, ignored, rejected and often mocked as well as yelled at, etc. Part II look at death itself and what they are missing during these last days of theirs because of what they do not know about death even more than just salvation, etc. Introduction But first, Part I This is an introduction that could be used to introduce all my sermon studies Those of us who have sincerely been with rightly dividing the word of truth by following Paul over the years, have truly come to know the who s, the why s and what s we are up against, when we find ourselves in a situation where dying and death enters the picture! It never comes at the right time most are never really prepared for but it does come surprisingly sooner for some, and later for others! Now we know that the most basic reason we come up with the thoughts and comments that we have is that we base ALL of our beliefs on the one confident assurance that truth is ONLY AVAILABLE in a rightly divided KJB 1611 Bible! and from 1) nowhere else no any other bibles, denominational doctrines, religions, etc. 2) nobody else on this earth no pope, pastor, preacher, evangelist, youtube pastoral star, author, scholar, etc. 3) nothing else no other book, CD, modern evangelical, college, bible institute or even so-called bible based doctrinal church teachings, etc.! We simply are looking to the teachings of the risen Christ! And you know what that means: we are looking beyond the cross through Paul the apostle who met the risen Christ face to face and was chosen by God Himself to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen - that s us!! (see Galatians 1:16)

So, as a result, as Paul says to Timothy in II Timothy 3:14,15 we now know that we have learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them from Paul the risen Christ KJB 1611 and these are the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus And we also know anything else preached / spoken / read or written is simply profane and vain babblings We should know by now, from me that we are specifically told to shun them not just pick the meat off the plate and skip the rest but SHUN them! Why? Those good words and fair speeches will simply increase unto more ungodliness (define) and the words of those speakers, preachers, pastors, authors, etc. will eat as doth a canker who not only themselves have erred concerning the truth, but to anyone who continues to listen to them take heed or even give them the time of day, etc. they will also be following profane and vain babblings and will increase unto more ungodliness and will err concerning the truth because their pastor s words will eat as doth a canker in them! For us, however, because we have looked to the risen Saviour through Paul in this KJB, we can honestly see that it is only because of the risen Christ, NOT because of OURSELVES, that we can honestly learn and even deeply understand that we are approved unto God and need not be ashamed! (II Timothy 2:15 II Timothy 1:8) However, IN OUR FAMILY AND CIRCLE OF FRIENDS AND WORKERS, ETC. WE ALSO RECOGNIZE THAT 1) More and more of them are not simply not interested in anything KJB anymore they are not even interested in the modern bibles they are seldom studied, let alone even read because - if they were, some of them would still wise up, and at least be willing to listen to us as we try to talk about to them about the KJB. 2) More and more of us even seem to be having a harder time with our own difficult and challenging life issues as well as with those others lives that we care about and love. 3) More and more of us are feeling more ashamed around others who have their own beliefs and won t talk - so we just tend to clam up to keep the peace (is it like how Jeremiah describes it, trimming your ways to seek love), and so we are the ones miserable; or if we do choose to say something, they get angry at us and so we are still most miserable! 4) It seems that almost all we have remaining in our lives is simply to maintain our own joy which can be done when Paul says to pray without ceasing and to think on these things and try to follow Paul ourselves so we can still have that peace that passeth all understanding which Paul concludes by saying that if we do that, then we know we do have the God of peace. (again, and as I ALWAYS remind us and myself, our thoughts and beliefs based on simply looking to the Risen Saviour, in a KJB, looking to Paul as our minister, apostle, evangelist as well as our ensample, our teacher, our life counselor, our guide who has been there done that and watched God deliver him

from every evil work and preserved him unto the Lord s heavenly kingdom. (See Philippians 4:6-8; II Timothy 2:15-17; 3:14,15; 4:14-18) So, DOES THAT MAKE US THE BAD GUY/ - (they say it does) DOES THAT MAKE US THE ONES CAUSING DIVISION AMONG THE BRETHREN? (they say so) DOES THAT MEAN WE ARE THE ONES AT FAULT FOR MAKING THEM ANGRY? (they say yes) Or DOES THAT MAKE US BE THE ONES GETTING ANGRY? (they say it does) Well, it could be our responsibility but only if we are the ones: 1) being soon angry; 2) walking disorderly; II Thessalonians 3:6 3) being ashamed (note II Thessalonians 3:14 and II Timothy 1:8) 4) not following after the things which make for peace and eventually destroying the work of God. (see Romans 14:19,20) HOWEVER THEY are the ones who are walking after their own lusts and are heaping to themselves teachers, having itching ears. THEY are the ones that have turned away their ears from the truth. THEY are the ones that have been turned unto fables Jewish fables such as the Great Commission as taught today! Jewish fables and commandments of men, that turn from the truth. THEY are the ones who profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. (how can that be? They are still works, aren t they? See Romans 8:8 and make your own bunny trail) Also, for those above verse references, see II Timothy 4:3b; Titus 1:14,16 My personal and pastoral objective over these later years has grown to be watch / endure / keep the faith! II Timothy 4:5,7 - But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry I have kept the faith. Remember, while we all have been called (see II Timothy 1:9) to a minister towards others, we must not forget that our own relationship with the risen Saviour through Paul is still the most important. For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing. For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. See I Thessalonians 1:8-10.

Remember, this is all needed introduction before we tackle the subject of death! We see so many friends and family that are living lives that would be considered: 1) a shipwreck based on God s designed teachings and morals from the Bible over the years teachings that we have seen dwindling if not already disappeared or 2) heading towards sure shipwreck, again not knowing the true ways of God (instead, they look towards the false gospel of a dead and still crucified Christ, a. always looking for those signs, wonders and miracles, and those magic fixes for their lives etc. and don t know of the joyous ways based on the goodness of God and the dispensation of the grace of God or b. lives developed without the instant chastisement and severity of God (see Romans 2:4-6, etc.) and so they just simply follow the ways of the world following their self-chosen pied piper! SO when we do see them in the days of their death / or hear of them dying they usually 1) are not seeking any comfort from us because of their willingness to live with their hurt forever unless, of course, they have searched and found Oprah, Readers Digest and Guidepost miracle stories, special authors of how to handle grief and pain, the lives of movie stars and all those that flatter their own spirit to bounce back with a false healing of mental encouragement and self-designed happiness with a peace in themselves, from themselves. a. Well, does that sound so bad? Yes, because it also lifts their flesh and creates a conceit and self-pride and deceives their mind by rejecting God and His words. b. They simply learn to ignore their shipwreck and pretend it isn t happening or believe it is fixed now! 2) are seeking help but they want action, and cannot and will not be comforted by the Scriptures or anything we say along those lines of teachings/comments, etc. a. They want action not words! b. They haven t seen God work and complain that they don t see God anywhere in their lives of course, all of that being based on the gospel teaching preachers/pastors, etc. and so they have given up on God, no matter what you say now! c. They have a closed attitude now towards God (Paul says they are mad at God even though they don t believe He exists?) (See I Thessalonians 4:8). d. They have created an attitude towards their shipwreck. 3) are seeking help from their religion / religious system, be it preachers, books, music especially including the humanistic religious spiritual song s loving lyrics of their favorite tear-jerking and falsely encouraging music becoming their own good words and fair speeches. a. They are very strong in their own faith. they are usually pretty good people.

b. They tend to quote bible verses that are clearly not right, of course. c. They are good with their works from finances to Christian family fun, always claiming they love Jesus and Jesus loves them along with cutsie sayings and pics on their t-shirts, etc. d. They have convinced themselves what they want to believe about their salvation and eternity with this all-loving God and a Jesus who would never judge them i. they are conceited and righteousness enough to believe they don t usually deserve any chastisement anyway but if they do, they confess it either right away or at least when it is most convenient to them. e. They do think they are ok in God s eyes because they are ok in their own eyes and of course, their thoughts and feelings back them up as do their pastors, parents, etc. f. They are trusting in their baptism, their confirmation, what their parents told them about their past family heritage and past blessings and protections, etc. as well as the ways and words of comfort of their friends experiences g. They don t even recognize that their lives are a shipwreck. They have no clue! P.S. - There certainly can be those who at the last minute or minutes actually do FINALLY hearken (Acts 27:21) unto Paul s words from the risen Saviour! They can still escape safely in the end but only on some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. Acts 27:44 Wouldn t you rather learn how to swim with Paul now and swim with the risen Saviour while still in this wicked world? (See Acts 27:21,44) By the way Are you asking, What is this stuff about shipwreck? and hanging on to the boards, etc.? See Acts 27 and read about Paul s shipwreck. It is a wonderful example of life, both for those who reject the risen Saviour & Paul today and for those who eventually come around to the living God through Paul at their end. and just so you understand I know, I know Paul is NOT the Saviour, but Paul IS the only apostle God has chosen to show the RISEN SAVIOUR to us today. (Not the apostles or Jesus on earth to the Jews as found only in the gospels.) To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: Galatians 1:16 KJB is the only Bible that will show us the RISEN SAVIOUR today. The scriptures are called the word of truth the gospel of your salvation! Do you have the scriptures to comfort and guide you to your death and to infinity and beyond, as they say today? You do if you have the KJB and you know about your death and beyond IF you rightly divide the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation!

So now on to Part II Other s and Death
