Amos takes you through the 11 1/2 years she and her two brothers took with their 94-year old mother who succumbed to the disease in 2014. She engages the reader in the problem-solving process they experienced through emails to each other, and her communities of caregivers, as their mother experienced different stages of Alzheimer s. Get an in-depth understanding of the effects the disease has on the patient and caregiver, plus, learn supportive ways to respond to ongoing challenges while enabling the patient to live with dignity, and even joy.
