NEW LITURGICAL VESTMENTS Second Collection, January 26-27 As the Mother Church of the Archdiocese of San Francisco, the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption hosts uniquely large liturgies with as many as 24 concelebrating Priests, Deacons and Bishops. We are long overdue in the purchase of new vestments, and we thank you in a special way for investing in this important aspect of our Cathedral Liturgy. Our parish assessment this year is $72,288. All parishioners will soon receive a letter in the mail from the Archbishop and our Pastor with a brochure that explains the programs and services funded by the Annual Appeal. Through the Appeal we join with other parishes and the Archdiocese in ministering to youth, seniors, families, the sick and disadvantaged. The Annual Appeal helps train priests and deacons and care for our retired priests as well as provides seminary tuition assistance, hospital chaplains and Archdiocesan services and ministries that benefit every parish and mission. 10 Segunda Colecta del 2-3 de Febrero El próximo fin de semana, se les invita a contribuir a la Apelación Anual Arquidiocesana de 2019.
