GOD s Word, It will never fail! *Don t steal from others the reality that God is faithful to always fulfill His word, unlike us.* *Don t lie to others, because God does not lie, and we should emulate Him.* Exodus 20:7 [CJB] You are not to use lightly [Shav] the name of ADONAI your God, because ADONAI will not leave unpunished someone who uses His name lightly [Shav]. [Shav] = to no effect, without worth, with emptiness You are not to use the name of ADONAI your God to no effect. Leviticus 19:11-13 [CJB] 11 Do not steal from, defraud or lie to each other. 12 Do not swear [Shaba] by My name falsely [Sheqer], which would be profaning [Chala] the name of your God; I am Adonai. 13 Do not oppress or rob your neighbor; specifically, you are not to keep back the wages of a hired worker all night until morning. [Shaba] = to promise an oath. [Chala] = to pierce. [Sheqer] = deception, disappointment, useless, false hope, untruthful. Do not promise an oath by My name untruthfully, which would be piercing the name of your God; I am Adonai. Zechariah 5:3-4 [CJB] 3 Then he said to me, This is the curse [Alah] that goes out over the face of all the land; for [according to what is written] on one side, everyone who steals will be swept away; and [according to what is written] on the other side, everyone who swears [Shaba] will be swept away. 4 I will release it [the oath], says ADONAI-Tzva ot [the LORD of hosts], and it will enter the house of the thief and the house of

anyone who swears [Shaba] falsely by My name; it will stay there inside the house and consume it completely, even its timbers and stones. [Alah] = oath. [Shaba] = to promise an oath. I will release My oath, says the LORD of hosts, and My oath will enter the house of the thief and the house of anyone who falsely promises an oath by My name; My oath will stay there inside the house and consume it completely, even its timbers and stones. Leviticus 24:11-16 [ESV] 11 and the Israelite woman's son blasphemed [Naqab] the Name [Y-H-W-H], and cursed [Qalal]. Then they brought him to Moses. His mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan. 12 And they put him in custody, till the will [Peh] of the Lord should be clear to them. 13 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 14 Bring out of the camp the one who cursed [Qalal], and let all who heard him lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone him. 15 And speak to the people of Israel, saying, Whoever curses [Qalal] his God shall bear his sin. 16 Whoever blasphemes [Naqab] the name of the Lord shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall stone him. The sojourner [stranger] as well as the native, when he blasphemes [Naqab] the Name, shall be put to death. [Naqab] = to pierce. [Qalal] = to make little of. [Peh] = mouth. Whoever makes little of his God shall bear his sin. Whoever pierces the name of the Lord shall surely be put to death. Jeremiah 23:33-40 [CJB] 33 When [someone from] this people, a prophet or a cohen [priest] asks you, What is the burden [Massa] of Adonai? you are to answer them, What burden [Massa]? I am throwing you off, says Adonai. 34 As for a prophet, cohen or [someone else from] this people who speaks about the burden [Massa] of Adonai, I will punish him and his household. 35 So, when you speak with your neighbor or brother, ask, What answer has Adonai given? or What has Adonai said? 36 Don t use the expression, burden [Massa] of Adonai any more; for every person s

own word will be his burden [Massa]. Must you twist [Haphak] the words of the living God, of Adonai- Tzva ot [the LORD of hosts], our God? 37 So, when speaking to a prophet, ask, What answer has Adonai given you? or What did Adonai say? 38 But if you talk about the burden [Massa] of Adonai, then here is what Adonai says: Because you use this expression, the burden [Massa] of Adonai, after I have already sent you the order not to say, the burden [Massa] of Adonai, 39 I will lift you up, burden [Massa] that you are, and throw you off, away from my presence you and the city I gave you and your ancestors. 40 Then I will subject you to everlasting disgrace eternal, unforgettable shame. [Massa] = burden, work, load. [Haphak] = to turn, twist, change, pervert. * The word of the living God is work that has no choice but to be done, it s a burden that has no choice but to be carried. God s word will accomplish what it pleases and prosper in the thing for which He sent it. Isaiah 55:8-11 [CJB] 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways, says Adonai. 9 As high as the sky is above the earth are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For just as rain and snow fall from the sky and do not return there, but water the earth, causing it to bud and produce, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater; 11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth it will not return to me unfulfilled; but it will accomplish what I intend, and cause to succeed what I sent it to do. Other verses about the unfailing nature of God s word: Remember the former things of old, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure, calling a bird of prey from the east, the

man who executes My counsel, from a far country. Indeed I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have purposed it; I will also do it. Isaiah 46:9-11 For You have magnified Your word above all Your name. Psalm 138:2 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1 Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. Do not add to His words, lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar. Proverbs 30:5-6 let God be true but every man a liar. Romans 3:4 My covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips. Psalm 89:34 According to the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so My Spirit remains among you: do not fear! Haggai 2:5 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Matthew 5:18 For truly I tell you, until the sky and earth pass away and perish, not one smallest letter nor one little hook [identifying certain Hebrew letters] will pass from the Law until all things [it foreshadows] are accomplished. Matthew 5:18 [AMP] God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it. Numbers 23:19-20 For I am the LORD. I speak, and the word which I speak will come to pass; it will no more be postponed; for in your days, O rebellious house, I will say the word and perform it, says the Lord GOD. Ezekiel 12:25 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries [lingers in expectation], wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry [delay]. Habakkuk 2:3 The Lord of hosts has sworn, saying, Surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass, and as I have purposed, so it shall stand: Isaiah 14:24 For every purpose of the Lord shall be performed Jeremiah 51:29 By the word of the Lord the heavens were made. And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. Psalm 33:6 For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. Psalm 33:9 For the Lord has both devised and done what He spoke Jeremiah 51:12

Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I now declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them. Isaiah 42:9 [ESV] The former things I declared of old; they went out from my mouth, and I announced them; then suddenly I did them, and they came to pass. Isaiah 48:3 [ESV] Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven. Your faithfulness endures to all generations; Psalm 119:89-90 Lord God of Israel, there is no God in heaven above or on earth below like You, who keep Your covenant and mercy with Your servants who walk before You with all their hearts. You have kept what You promised Your servant David my father; You have both spoken with Your mouth and fulfilled it with Your hand, as it is this day. 1 Kings 8:23-24 Then the Lord said to me, You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word. Jeremiah 1:12 Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it. Jeremiah 1:12 [AMP] I, the Lord, have spoken it, and I will do it. Ezekiel 36:36 These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law / Teaching [Torah] of Moses and the Prophets [Nevi im] and the Psalms / Writings [K tuvim] concerning Me. Luke 24:44 Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. Amos 3:7 in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began, but has in due time manifested His word through preaching, Titus 1:2-3 Long ago I told you what was going to happen. Then suddenly I took action, and all my predictions came true. For I know how stubborn and obstinate you are. Your necks are as unbending as iron. Your heads are as hard as bronze. That is why I told you what would happen; I told you beforehand what I was going to do. Then you could never say, My idols did it. My wooden image and metal god commanded it to happen! You have heard my predictions and seen them fulfilled, but you refuse to admit it. Now I will tell you new things, secrets you have not yet heard. They are brand new, not things from the past. So you cannot say, We knew that all the time! Isaiah 48:3-7 [NLT] For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself, saying, Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you. And so, after he had patiently endured [waited], he obtained the promise. For men indeed swear by the greater, and an oath for confirmation is for them an end of all dispute. Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability [unchanging nature] of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, that by two immutable [unchangeable] things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us. Hebrews 6:13-18

The words of the Lord are pure words, like silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Psalm 12:6 For the word of the Lord is right, and all His work is done in truth. Psalm 33:4
