CHILDREN & YOUTH SUNDAY ACTIVITIES Chapel Chat During the 9 a.m. service. All children grades prek-4 may join Chris Decatur for a children s activity every Sunday. Godly Play 10:10-11 a.m. This Montessori-based Sunday School program has classes organized by age groups: age 3 Kindergarten; 1st & 2nd grade; and 3rd & 4th grade. Quest 10:10-11 a.m. Children in 5th and 6th grade explore ethics, spirituality, social responsibility and Christian tradition through a Lectionary-based, multi-sensory program called Seasons of the Spirit. Youth Group 10:10-11 a.m. Our Junior (7th-8th grades) and Senior (9th-12th grades) High programs combine open, faith-based conversation about contemporary issues with Bible study, outreach projects, retreats and social events. INTERGENERATIONAL EVENTS St. Francis Day Blessing of the Animals Sunday, Oct. 2 9 a.m. All creatures great and small are welcome to be blessed at this annual service. Festive coffee hour follows to celebrate the significance of pets in our lives. Advent Nov. 27 10:10 a.m. Families will have the opportunity to create an advent wreath to be used in their home. We will also have a craft station where children can create decorations for the Jesse tree and learn about the life of St. Nicholas.
