The fall season is in full swing and our 2017-2018 school year has gotten off to a GREAT start! We are so pleased to have you and your child be a part of our Trinity family. It is our goal that we continue to develop meaningful relationships with you and your child in order to help them thrive academically, spiritually and socially. We have had several events this month that you might have attended with your child and family. Thank you for your participation in the Silver Beach dinner, the Variety Show and the Walk-a-thon. The dinner and walk-a-thon events helped us raise money for student events, activities, teacher resources, technology and budgetary needs. Your help and support for all events are needed to make it a success for our students. Thank you and I look forward to you and your family at our next big event. The grand total so far for the Walk-a-thon is $12,038.12. This amount shows great effort on the part of many students and families. The three classes that had 100% participation will have their pizza party next week to celebrate! I thank my God every time I remember you. Then, in November classrooms help fill the baskets with canned and boxed goods that can be kept on shelves longer. Please donate what you can every week. At the end of October we can be ready to purchase turkeys, butter, and potatoes. As Thanksgiving gets closer we will purchase the eggs, milk, rolls and pies. Imagine the feast that will be ours to share through your generous Chapel offerings. Veterans Day Chapel Trinity would like to honor our nation s service men and women on Friday, November 10 at a special Veterans Day Chapel. The service will be held in the sanctuary beginning at 8:15am. If you have served, are currently serving, or know a family member who served in the military, please invite them to join us for this service. The students will be singing and there will be a reception following the service. 2 T r i n i t y L u t h e r a n C h u r c h a n d S c h o o l
