KTAJ produced and is airing an announcement encouraging our local community to donate turkeys to this Christ centered ministry in order for all families to have a Thanksgiving meal. TBN KC Outreach #Race2UniteKC KTAJ had a great time this month participating in this wonderful Christ centered outreach. KTAJ Station Manager Julie Cluck and public affairs host Lindsay Hardiman partnered with the Kansas City Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) to host the f irst ever #Race2UniteKC. This was a 5k walk/run to bring about awareness to spark hope, love and unity amongst all races in Kansas City. Prayer, free food, and free love gifts were shared! : Dear Julie & Lindsay, I wanted to touch base with you both and thank you again for sending a prayer up for me the day of the Race2UniteKC event. Although I have only taken two midterms they went well and I am anticipating the last three to go the same. TBN is a blessing to me and I am glad I was able to run into you both. You were there when I needed support and I truly thank you! I hope you both have a great evening and I pray that everyone you run into is touched the same way I was. I def initely have been feeling uplifted. I cannot thank God enough for placing TBN in my path! I am looking forward to sharing my testimony with you all! Thank you & Love you! TBN KC Outreach with Virtuous and Victorious Women s Ministry Conference TBN KC Station Manager Julie Cluck and public affairs host Lindsay Hardiman set up a TBN information table spreading the good news of Jesus Christ to hundreds of women attending this conference. TBN KC handed out love gifts to all attendees along with a gift bag full of TBN goodies to a (camera shy) blessed lady who entered a free drawing at our table. TBN KC would like to welcome our newest Saturday local programmer, Radiant Lives Christian Center with Pastor Tim Cox. You can watch his program on Saturdays at 2:00 p.m. on KTAJ Channel 16 in the Kansas City area. Pastor Kelly Lorhrke from Praise Chapel of KC brought along Pastor Dinko Zambrano from Praise Chapel Peru to observe a TBN KC production of Joy in Our Town, highlighting the needs and issues of the youth in our community. Praise Chapel Peru has over 200 youths aged 15 to 25 years old who worship Jesus Christ! He requested that TBN partners would pray for the Muslims taking over with their beliefs in Peru to be converted to Christianity. Rosilyn Temple from KC Mothers in Charge Ministry had a much needed heartfelt giggle with the TBN KC staff before taping a Joy in Our Town segment discussing her ministry that represents mothers of murdered children in the Kansas City area. She brought portraits of the mothers affected by this horrible crime and the dreams that were lost when their children died.
