Sorry for the delay. SHHH Be still and know that I am God Psalm 46:10 Welcome to a new school year! Our theme for our 2017-2018 school year will be SHHH! This comes from Psalm 46 verse 10, where we hear these words, Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. Can t you just hear the voice of God whispering to you, Shhh, be still, listen. I am your God. I ve got you! I ve got this circumstance! I am God.

Redeemer Lutheran School s 7 & 8 Grade Classes are hosting a Rummage Sale and Bake Sale in the Fellowship Hall on Saturday, September 9 th, 2017 from 8 AM to 2 PM. Donations of gently used and clean items are now being accepted in the Fellowship Hall. Items may be dropped off at the stage in Fellowship Hall, or in the front hallway of the school and will be moved by the students. Thank you for your support. RLS SUPPLY STORE SUPPORT It's that time of the year again. The Redeemer School Supply store could use some support to fill our shelves. We supply each new student on the School Choice program and any returning students on the same program with a polo shirt for chapel and a back pack filled with school supplies. Our shelves are in pretty good condition, but our funds have taken a hit. If you would like to donate to this need, there are envelopes at the Welcome Center for you to use. You may put them in the white box or hand them to Kathy Tucker. Also, if any of you have any gently used Redeemer polo shirts in your closets that you don't need anymore, they would be put to good use by our students. You could drop them at the school office or at the Admission Counselor's office (across the hall from kindergarten). Thank you :)

STEWARDSHIP MOMENT Matthew 14:30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, Lord, save me. The world, really, is a scary place natural disasters, disease, terrorism, and a hundred other things. But where do we place our hope, our trust our vision? Where do we look for aid and comfort? When Peter s eyes were on the Lord, he had confidence. When he turned to look at his problems and took his eyes off the Lord, he fell apart. Sometimes God s call to support the work of His Church with our offerings makes us nervous. But put your eyes back on your Lord, trust Him, follow His Word, and all, really, will be well. Their stories show that God chooses ordinary people people like you - to do His extraordinary work. These lessons will introduce you to the cultural setting and life story of a biblical character, examine the joys and challenges that person faced, and show how God forgave, sustained, and empowered that person to serve Him. Concluding activities will lead you in reviewing God's blessings in your own life.
