Announcements Many thanks to Dave Disch and his family for being with us today! We love and appreciate his talents and willingness to share them today on Easter! Project Agape. Nara Melkonyan, Country Director of Project Agape will be speaking on Wednesday, April 11 th at Brogden UMC from 10am 1pm (lunch provided) and also Saulston UMC beginning w/dinner provided at 6pm. Church Security Training Workshop: Sunday, April 8 th from 2:30pm to 5:30pm at First UMC in Wilson. Following worship, law enforcement will present about church security and safety. Several workshop options will be presented for the remainder of the event, including getting started with a safety team, introduction to First Aid/AED, Safe Sanctuaries training, and recognizing challenging or dangerous behavior and strategies for calming people in these situations. Chick n Pluckin Fundraiser. The annual Chick n Pluckin Fundraiser will begin Sunday, April 8 th and will conclude Memorial weekend, Sunday, May 27 th. Easter Worship. The preaching series through the Easter season is entitled, Show the Wonder. In this series, we ll take a look at how the most impressive part of Eater is the way it s meant to shine through our lives. Begins today and continue through Trinity Sunday, May 27 th. Easter Bible Study. St. Augustine once said, I have never doubted the power of miracle once I experienced the miracle of a changed heart. What strikes me as just right is this angle, Become the Miracle. Over the last 2,000 years whenever we ask the question, How do we know Easter is true? the Bible has a compelling answer. God intends to take our lives and demonstrate the power of Easter through our character. This series will begin Wednesday, April 4 th and conclude Wednesday, May 23 rd beginning at 10:00am. 5
