They cover the entire outside area and record around the clock. The footage is kept for two months. The purpose of these cameras is to deter people from entering our campus, discovering through video who approached the campus and recording events in all the public areas of the school (these include everything outside the buildings) There are no recordings inside the buildings. Please be aware that the cameras are on whenever anyone is on the campus. There are signs posted on the gates informing students, parents, faculty, staff, and visitors that they are under surveillance. The cameras are already impacting the safety of our school. Monitors are on Mrs. Bryant- Evans's, Mrs. Glenn's, Mrs. Venegas's and Mrs. Marquez's desks at all times. REFLECTING SUNDAY S GOSPEL MESSAGE FAITH HEROES THROUGH FAITH FORMATION Luke 6: 17, 20-23 Reflecting on the Word In God s time all things are fleeting. We look forward to the day when our poverty will be replaced with the Kingdom of God Though today we may cry over a loss, one day we will experience wholeness in God. Jesus shows the people that their tears, suffering, and faithfulness to the Lord are not forgotten. They may not receive accolades in the life, but God will rejoice with them for all eternity. On the Way to Mass When have you felt blessed? Have you ever felt blessed during a sad experience? On the Way Home from Mass Which Beatitude do you most easily identify with? Why? Living the Word Ask each family member to make a list of their blessings. Those who feel artistic could draw their blessings. Write down a master list of the blessings and then make a paper chain of blessings, with one blessing per link on the chain. String this up as a reminder of all the good things for which the family is thankful. When someone is feeling down, detach one of the chains and read it as a reminder. Once the chain is completely dismantled, the process can be started all over again.
