Weekend of February 16-18, 2019 W Welcome! It is a joy to have you with us today and it is our prayer that you are strengthened and uplifted through our worship and fellowship. We especially welcome those visiting. Please pick up information about our church at the kiosk located in the entry. Also, please take time after the service to introduce yourself to our pastor. We would like to get to know you better. A Prayer in Preparation for Worship O God, whose glory is found not just on majestic thrones far beyond our reach, but also amid the imperfection of the human family; help us to approach this hour, this day, and thus every day this week, as a gift from you, full of glorious possibilities, as well as holy expectations. This does not come naturally, Lord. Our temptation is to be so "realistic", or so lost in the clouds, that we miss your kingdom coming on earth, even as it is in heaven. It is often in the simplest of ways, in the middle of situations for which a sigh is our only response, that your glory becomes a reality. Come, Holy Spirit, help us to see and worship, to trust and live, starting right now! In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. Current Sermon Series: The Ultimate Humanitarian GOD: THE ULTIMATE HUMANITARIAN is a book written by Rev. Mark Cares. In his book, Pastor Cares gives example after example of how God is truly THE ultimate humanitarian. This sermon series, based on God s Word, will help us once again realize how God truly loves and shows it, even though we are undeserving of that love. The series will also equip us to share with others the love of God and how he is their ultimate humanitarian. In His Service, Rev. Scott Spaulding

Church Nursery Staff Needed We are so blessed to have a church nursery staffed by one adult and one youth volunteer each week at the 10:00 a.m. Living Hope Service. Since our new sanctuary was built, the church nursery meets right across the way from the entrance to our new sanctuary. The parents of children that attend the nursery have shared with us what a blessing this ministry is to them as they can relax and enjoy God's Word. The church nursery serves children ages 2 and under. You do not need to change diapers as each parent can be contacted by cell phone during the service. It isn't a huge commitment, just need to serve once every 7th Sunday and as we get more volunteers, that will even lessen as a commitment as more adults sign up to help. Please contact Lori Griffin by email or phone 952-715-7270 and she will make sure we welcome you and get you on our new schedule.

But in this series we'll discover that there are a lot more interesting similarities between the lambs that were sacrificed as offerings for the Jewish people and the final sacrifice of THE Lamb, Jesus.
