Joanne Verone wants us to know about this:...recently, I came across a Youtube video about Barbro Karlen, a Christian woman who claims to be the reincarnation of Anne Frank. Here is a synopsis of her life Barbro Karlen was born in Sweden in 1954, when she was 2 years old, she told her parents that her name was Anne, her mother kept saying your name is Barbro. Barbro told her parents that she was not their daughter and was waiting for her father to come and get her. Her mother even took her to a psychologist at the age of 6 because of this fantasy story. When she was 10 years old, her parents took her to Amsterdam. At the hotel, her father wanted to take a cab to Anne Frank's museum, Barbro said we can walk. Her father said how do you know where to go?. She said follow me it is not that far. She led them to the museum which was 10 minutes away from the hotel. When they arrived Barbro said that they changed the steps. When she went into the museum, she held her mother's hand and was very frightened. When they arrived upstairs in Anne's bedroom, Barbro said, the pictures on the wall. Her mother said there are no pictures on the wall. Barbro said that Anne cut out pictures from magazines and put them on the wall. The mother asked the guide if there were pictures on that wall. He said that they took them down because people were taking them. They were going to put them back up but they would be in a glass case to protect them from being damaged or stolen. Barbro was born into a Christian family and her father didn't believe in reincarnation. He was very skeptical and told her to forget about it. Eventually, her mother did believe her. They had never heard about Anne Frank. There are many similarities between the two: when Barbro was 12 years old, she wrote and had her first book published. She had published 11 books of poetry and prose by the time she was 16. Anne Frank's cousin, Buddy Elias agreed to meet Barbro. He immediately embraced Barbro and acknowledged that she was Anne Frank. Buddy was president of the Anne Frank museum and the other board members were upset with him because they felt Barbro was a fake and just wanted money from the foundation. Barbro wrote a book about her experiences as Anne Frank. The book is " And the Wolves Howled" The screenplay ABOVE AND BEYOND is based on her book. She now lives in North Carolina and works as Education Manager at the Tryon International Equestrian Center. She can also be found on Facebook as well as Youtube. Opening To Your Intuition With Virginia Waldron The first Tuesday of the month - Dates: March 5th, April 9th, May 7th, June 4th Fee: $25 per class. The deadline to sign up is the first of each month. CazCoWorks Location: 87 Albany Street 2nd Floor Cazenovia, NY This series of classes is open to beginners as well as those more experience in working with their intuition. Each class will build on what was explored and learned from the previous class. Therefore, it is best to attend all 4 classes. In October the class may be continued, depending on interest, and bring more exploration and experimentation in intuitive awakening. This 4 week class is about awakening to the intuitive connections we all have with our higher levels of guidance. We will explore various levels of connection and intuitive awareness through lecture, group discussion and experiential exercises. This group will act as a learning and support group, giving each participant a sense of the different ways people can intuit and perceive the world around them. In each class we will focus on many of the aspects of intuitive knowing, with exercises that will aid in the further attuning to the intuitive abilities that we each, as individuals, carry within ourselves. As children we are very aware of the energies and different layers of consciousness all around. As adults we learn we aren t supposed to do that, or we aren t supposed to take it seriously. But, it is within all of us, and now, as adults, we want to learn how to make those connections once again. We will explore questions like: What Is Intuition? How do we physically experience an intuitive connection, through the body? When do I open to it? Why do I want to open to my intuition? We will learn theory through lecture and group discussion and we will experience being open to our intuition through exercises that will enable us to know what intuition is all about. This may be the first time, for some students. Or, it can bring a deeper and more in-depth to the quality of the connection for those with more experience. Visualization and meditation bring us to a greater awareness of our energies and our surroundings. We will learn how to visualize the outer bodies, to feel them and know when they need strengthening or support. We will learn about how to access the information that is held in these energy bodies, and we will learn about grounding and centering and setting up white light protection. We will also learn to connect with the Violet Flame of St. Jerome to cleanser and clear the aura and the outer bodies, and remove any bits of darkness that may be trying to attach. 4

Sue with Charlie, Wanda s grandson..rene McClain s presentation, called Breath Health was that and so much more. She shared with us her life s journey, a fascinating accumulation of stages and incidents that shaped her and led her to her present profession. Her mission is to help people through the knowledge and techniques she has gained and she does so in a very generous way. She is the founder of COG (Center of Grace) whose practitioners are committed to helping you through meditation, yoga, massage, wellness coaching and healthy living....sue Savion and Wanda Woods got to attend this meeting after all because it had been postponed. We had a great time traveling down to Washington, DC for the Indigenous Peoples March and speeches on Friday and the Women s March on Saturday. As Wanda had worked in DC for 20 years, she new her way around. We visited some of her familiar places, got to Georgetown to indulge in a special pizza place, and met up with friends and relatives. Because of the storm that weekend, we stayed two extra days and had time to deepen our relationships. Sue with her cousin Bob, who helped her reconnect with another long-lost cousin; Wanda with her long-time friend Lavena. Wanda s daughter Rachel and her cute little dog Chloe who went everywhere with us, probably got photographed more than anyone else at these events!..poets...musicians...thinkers of thoughts...dreamers of dreams...to those who enjoy cultivating friendships while listening to words creatively expressed--here is your invitation to come to the Auburn Public Theater's monthly poetry circle. Immobility with elevation of foot is now her biggest problem. First her daughter and now her son are helping her and Dave with care coordination and tasks. She is seeing daily improvement in her mood and foot sensations but forced inactivity is trying. Beautiful painting with a story behind it at the COG....Our dear friend Aziz Goksel died on Friday, February 15, from complications of pneumonia in Istanbul, Turkey. He was being treated with ongoing chemotherapy for pancreatic cancer over the last several months. His funeral was held on February 18th. He was buried in a special location on the eastern side of Istanbul where many of his family members have been buried. It is called a tekka, an ancient complex of buildings that include cooking areas and rooms for pilgrims to stay in for extended visits. Aziz s uncle, Ahmet Ertegun, spent his own funds to renovate this special historic place and some of Aziz s relatives live there as caretakers. There will be a memorial service for Aziz at a later date in Syracuse and a full obituary will also eventually be available. Please come prepared to share some personal remembrance about Aziz for our Closing Circle at the end of the evening. 6
